THOMAS TRAVERSE DIES
Chief Clerk of Niagara Junction
Passes Here after Operation.
Thomas J. Traverse, chief clerk of
the Niagara Junction railroad, died
in Mount St. Mary's hospital yesterday
afternoon. He was 59 years
old and had undergone an operation
a week ago.
Mr. Traverse was a native and
lifelong resident of Niagara Falls.
He was a son of the late John and
Elizabeth Traverse and Is survived
by two sons, Robert and Orvllle,
and two brothers, Charles, of this
city, and John, of Buffalo. He was
a member of the Woodmen of the
World,.Knights of Columbus and the
Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen.
The funeral will be held from his
late home, 1152 North avenue, at
8:30 a.m. Saturday, with services at
Sacred Heart church at 9 am. Burial
will be In Riverdale cemetery
