Mrs. Bridgeman,
Sanborn Dies
SANBORN, Dec. 18 - Mrs.
Maude M. Bridgeman, 83, of the
Saunders Settlement Rd., died to-
day at a Gasport nursing home
following a long illness.
Mrs. Bridgeman was born at
Rochester, Nov. 14, 1870, a daughter
the late George and Alice
Cooper. She married Albert Bridge-
man at Rochester 60 years ago.
She had lived in this area for many
years. Mr. Bridgeman, a prominent
-truck farmer here, died in 1948.
Mrs.,Bridgeman was a charter mem-
ber of the Pomona Grange and the
First Baptist Church at Rochester.
She is survived by one daughter,
Mrs Harry J. Treichler; a granddaughter,
Mrs. Richard Ingraham;
two great grandchildren, Cherie and
Janet Ingraham, all of this village;
one sister, Mrs. Roy Kester, Rochester,
and two brothers, Richard
and George Cooper, both of Detroit
Mich.
Funeral services will be held at
the Pike. Funeral Home, Sanborn,
Monday at 2:30 p.m. The Rev.
Elmer W. Verguson will officiate.
Interment will be in Mt. View Cem-
etery, Pekin.
