engagement of their daughter,
Lucile, to Clifford Upton, son of Mr.
George Upton of Niagara Falls. The

WILSON- The marriage of Miss
Lucille Swick, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Alonzo P. Swick. to Mr. Clifford
Upton, son of Mr. George Upton
of Niagara Falls, was .solemnized
today at a garden wedding at their
home on the East Lake road. Wilson.
The Rev Edward Franklin,
of the Wilson Baptist church, officiated
at the ceremony.
The bride, who was given In marriage
by her father, was gowned in
dotted white moussellne de sol with
which she wore a white organdie
picture hnt and carried garden
flowers.
Miss Frances Swick. maid of honor
and sister of the bride, was gowned
In yellow moussellne de sol with
Insets of yellow lace. She also wore
a picture hat of yellow organdie
and carried garden flowers
Frank Diez, of Ransomville, was
the best man.
The bride's mother was gowned
in navy blue and white silk made
in a redingote stvle Her accessories
were of white. and she wore a
corsage of yellow- roses
Ushers were Maurice Upton and
Ronald Swick.
Miss Yvonne Duxbury, of Wilson,
rendered several selections "Because"
and "I Love You Truly"
Mrs. Howard Fitzgerald of Lewlston.
played the wedding march
A wedding supper for 100 was held
lmmediately following the ceremony
on the lawn Guests were
present from Rochester Niagara
'Falls, Buffalo. Ishua, Wilson and
Lockport and from Erie, Toledo.
and Cleveland, Ohio.

Mrs. Howard Fitzgerald, of Lewis
ton; a blue and yellow kitchen
shower in the form of a supper party
by Yvonne Duvburv. of Wilson, a
Spinster dinner by Miss Alice Fris-
ton, of Wilson: a variety shower by
Mrs. James Halstead and Mrs.
Emmett Sweet, of Wilson, a supper
party by the members of the Alpha
Sigma house at the home of Mrs.
Rolf Olsen of Buffalo and a coral
and white bathroom shower given
by Miss Eleanor Thom of Buffalo.
