A very pretty but quiet wedding
took place on Saturday morning,
June 10, at the Van Luven home,
In Youngstown, when Miss Laura
VanLuven, only daughter of Levi
Van Luven. became the bride of
Clifford C. Wasmund. son of Mr.
and Mrs. Herman Wasmund, also of
Yqungstown.
The ceremony was performed by
the Rev. Gordon A. Neufang, of
Lewlston, in the presence of the
immediate families.
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, was lovely In a navy
blue chiffon with white accessories
and shoulder corsage of roses and
sweet peas. Mrs. Henry F. Myers, a
cousin of the bride, was her attendant.
She was dressed in navy blue
sheer with white accessories and
shoulder corsage of roses and sweet
peas. Henry F. Myers attended the
groom.
After the ceremony, a wedding
breakfast was served to 18 At Ka-
than's River End, Youngstown. After
the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Wasmund
will be at home on the Creek
road, Youngstown.
Pre-nuptials for the bride were
a personal shower, given by mrs.
Carl Siegfried, of Tonawanda; a
linen shower by Mrs. Rexford Hard-
ing of Youngstown; a variety show-
er by Miss Mildred Birgowan, Ni-
agara Falls, and a shower given by
Mrs. Herman Wasmund and Miss
Iva Canfield, at which the bride
was given an indirect floor lamp.
