Mr. and Mn. William Cisek,
Twenty-first street, announce the
engagement of their daughter, Joan,
to Cpl. Robert Blank, son of Mr.
and Mn. Stanley Blank, Sixteenth
street. Cpl. Blank is serving with the
U. S. Air Force.
The wedding will take place, on
April 14 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran
church.

Wearing a ballerina-length gown,
Miss Joan Cisck, daughter of Mr. and
Mn. William Cisek, Twenty-first
street, became the bride of Mr. Robert
Blank, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Stanley Blank, Sixteenth street. The
ceremony took place at Trinity Lutheran
church with the Rev. Paul J.
Hartenberger officiating.
Mrs. Kenneth Gifford played organ
selections.
The bride was given in marriage
by her father. Her-gown was lace
with a Peter Pan collar and long
sleeves pointed at the wrist. The
back was adorned with tiny buttons
from neck to waist. The full skirt
was net over taffeta". Her illusion
veil of tulle was of fingertip length
and fell from a tiara of tiny seed
pearls. She carried a white prayerbook
and white Orchid with satin
streamers entwined with lilies-ofcthevalley.
Miss Ethel Price, maid of honor,
was gowned in aquamarine. The
bodice was taffeta with pleats across
the neckline. The skirt was net
over taffeta. Her bonnet was aqua
net with pink roses across the crown.
She carried a colonial bouquet of
pink carnations.
The flower girl was Miss Barbara
Barczcz, cousin of the bride. She
wore pink, net styled with an off the shoulder
effect. Her bonnet was
fashioned similar to that of the maid
of honor and she carried a colonial
nosegay of pink roses and white
sweetpeas.
Mr.,Edward Fitzgerald was,best
man.v The ushers were Mr. Robert
Cisek, brother of the bride, and Mr.
Janies Kennedy, cousin of the bridegroom.
The mother of the bride wore navy
crepe with white trim and white accessories.
Her corsage was of red
roses.
Mrs. Blank wore navy .crepe and
white accessories. Her corsage was
also of red roses.,
A reception was held for 100
guests.
For traveling the bride wore a
royal blue suit with white accessories.
Her ensemble was complimented with
an orchid corsage.
Mr. and Mrs. Blank will reside
in Sumpter, S. C, where-Mr. Blank
is stationed with the U. S. Air Force.
