Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Davis,
Rochester, announce the engagement
of their dauhgter, Miss
June Eleanor Davis.to John H.
Widmer Jr., son of Mr. and
Mrs. John H. Widmer, Hess
Rd., Appleton.
Miss Davis-is a graduate of
John Marshall High School,
Rochester, and her fiance is attending
Ihe University of Rochester.
He graduated from Barker
Central School and Erie
County Technical Institute.

Widmer, Appleton.
The Rev. Alfred B. Wangman
will officiate before an
altar decorated with palms
and baskets of mums and
gladioli.
To be given in marriage
by her father,'the bride will
wear a floor-length gown of
peau de soie fashioned, with
a scoop neckline and a fitted
bodice enhanced with
Alencon lace.
A crushed cummerbund
highlights the high empire
bodice which continues into
a skirt of unpressed pleats.
A cap of lace will hold her
silk illusion veil and she will
carry a bouquet of. orchids
and stephanotis.

MISS MARLENE DAVIS,
who will be maid of honor
for her sister, will be attired
in a ballerina-length gown
of shell pink silk organza
over multi-tiered Chantilly
lace. She will wear a matching
headpiece and carry a
white lace basket filled with
deep pink carnations..
Mrs. Donald Kreiss and
Mrs, L a w rence- Streber,
bridesmaids, will be attired
similarly to the honor attendant
and will 'carry white
lace baskets filled with pale
pink carnations. Jan Pettit
will be flower girl.
Clifton Pettit will be best
man. Donald Kreiss and
Lawrence Streber will usher
guests.
FOR A RECEPTION this
evening at the Carriage
House, Rochester, the mother
of the bride will wear an
aqua linen sheath dress with
white_accessories. The_moth-
er of the bridegroom will
favor a light blue sheath
dress with white accessories.
-Each-will-wear- an-orchid
corsage.
After a wedding trip to
Florida, Mr. and Mrs. Widmer
will reside at 192 Des-
