Mrs Laura L. Chase, 76, of
492 Walnut St., partner in a local
window cleaning firm, died
Monday evening (Jan. 2, 1967)
in Lockport Memorial Hospital
after a three-month illness.
She was the widow of Glenn
W. Chase, who died in 1945. He
was the founder of the Service
Window Cleaning Co., and
since his death she has been a
partner in the firm.
Born Dec. 28, 1890 in t he
Town of Hartland, she was the
daughter of Charles and Bertha
Berndt Hofert, and had lived in
Lockport most of her life.
She was a member of Companions
of Foresters L o d g e,
Women's Benefit Association
and the Senior Citizens.
She is survived by a daughter.
Mrs. Charles O. Tall; two
grandchildren, Charles D. Tall
and Mrs. Laura Natter, of Lockport
and seven great - grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 5
and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Joseph
M. Kennedy Funeral H o me
Inc., 122 Walnut St., where funeral
services will be held at
1:30 p.m. Thursday. Dr. Harry
D. Hawthorne, pastor of First
English Lutheran Church, will
officiate.
Burial will be in Hartland
Central Cemetery.
