4960 Ridge Road passed away
suddenly Sunday December 8,
1963; He Is survived by his wife

grandchildren and several great
grandchildren. Friends received
at the Joseph M. Kennedy Funeral
Home Inc., 122 Walnut St.
where the funeral will be held
Wednesday December 11 at 10:30
a.m. The family will be present
from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Interment
in Hartland Central Cemetery.

LOCKPORT - A retired
farmer, Walter C. Hofert, 77,
of 4960 Ridge Road, died
Sunday (Dec. 8, 1963) at Lockport
Memorial Hospital
Mr. Hofert was born in
Royalton Aug. 15, 1886, the
son of Charles C. and Bertha
Berndt Hofert. He was a
farmer in this area all his
life and retired 12 years ago.
Survivors include his . widow,
Mrs. Edna B. Hofert; two
sons, Donald C. Hofert, of
Lockport, and Kenneth Ho
fert, of Silver Springs, N.Y.;
five daughters, Mrs. Dominic
Farina, and Mrs. Joyce De-.
Marco, both Lockport, Mrs.
Arthur S ch w e r t s e g e r of
Churchville, N.Y., Mrs. James
Briggs, of Geneva, and Mrs.
Howard Lewis, of Batavia; a
sister, Mrs. Laura Chase, of
Lockport; 17 grandchildren
and several great grandchildren.

Services will be held at
10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the
Joseph M. Kennedy Funeral
Home Inc. Rev. W. James
Westhafer, of the First Presbyterian
Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Hartland
Central Cemetery
