The marriage of Miss Martha B.
Ortner .daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Ortner, of Rhode Island avenue,
to Carl H. Voss. son of Mrs. Carl
Voss, of Rhode Island avenue, was
solemnized yesterday afternoon at 3
o'clock in the Zlon Lutheran church.
Eighteenth street the Rev. Oustav
Zlcmer officiating. The church was
decorated with gladiolas, garden
flowers and palms.
The bride was attired In a gown of
antique Ivory, made Queen Anne style,
with a braided belt and collar. Her
veil of matching deep ivory was
caught at the back of the head with
orange blossoms and she carried a
bouquet of bride's rosea, lilles-of-thevalley
and baby's breath. Miss Esther
Wilson, her only attendant, wore a
gown of French blue crepe with pink
accessories and carried a bouquet of
pink roses, Lillies-of-the-valley and
baby's breath. The groom's attendant
was Leonard Nelson and Carl Ortner
acted as usher.
There were cover for 14 at the
luncheon which was served the Immediate
families at 508-1/2 Cedar avenue
following the ceremony. The table was
decorated In white and centered with
a wedding cake.
Mr. and Mrs. Voss will make their
home at 2211 Rhode Island avenue.
