A quiet but pretty home wedding
took place in Atlanta. Georgia.
Saturday. April 12, at 5 o'clock In
the presence of the immediate families
and a few close friends, when
Sara Frances Cook, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. James H. Cook, and
Dr. Robert Ford Mabon, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Carl R. Mabon, of this
city, were united in marriage, with
the Rev. Doctor Milton Butler Pratt,
former pastor of St. Paul's Methodist
church, this city, officiating.
The wedding march was played
by Mrs. Robert Cunningham, who
also played "Intermlzzo" and "Au
Love" softly before the ceremony.
Dr. Nunnally, of Atlanta, sang "Because."
° The bride and bridegroom entered
alone and were unattended.
The bride wore an aqua crepe afternoon
dress with beige accessories
and an orchid-corsage
° The bride's mother wore a rose
crepe dress with a corsage of gardenias.
Dr. and' Mrs. Mabon will reside
in Atlanta. Georgia, where Dr. Mabon
is now resident surgeon in
Grady hospital.
