Miss Marlene Fay Sweet, daughter
of Mrs. Edna Sweet. Gloversville,
and Walter Sweet. Greenwich,
was married to William
Raymond Walker, son of Mrs.
Elaine Kauffman, San Mateo,
Calif., and William G. Walker.
Gloversville. Sunday at 3 p.m. in
the First Methodist Church. Gloversville.

Mrs. Florence Rogers. Gloversville,
played wedding selections
and Miss Audrey Shell, Gloversville,
was the soloist. The church
was decorated with white gladioli
and candelabra.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a gown of
white imported silk organza appliqued
with lace and a chapel
length veil caught to a coronet of
seed pearls. She carried a lacecovered
Bible topped with a white
orchid.
The maid of honor was Miss
Judith Brennan, Spring Valley,
who was in aqua nylon chiffon
with matching picture hat and
carried yellow roses and white
poihpons. The bridesmaid. Miss
Marianne Steenburgh, Gloversville;
wore yellow and carried Talisman
roses and white pompons.
The junior bridesmaid. Miss
Kathleen West, Gloversville, a
cousin of the bride, wore a pastel
pink gown and the flower girls.
Miss Paula Klymkow, Broadalbin,
cousin of the bride, and Miss Susan
Malley. Gloversville. niece of
the bridegroom, were dressed in
white dotted swiss over pink. They
carried colonial bouquets of white
flowers.
Louis Rosmarino. Gloversville.
served as best man and the ushers
were Gary Walker and Leonard
West, also of Gloversville.
The mother of the bride was attired
in a pink organza sheath'and
wore a pink feather hat and a
corsage of red roses. The bridegroom's
mother wore a blue embroidered
lace dress, matching hat
and a corsage of pink roses.
A reception was held in the
church parlors after which the
couple left on a wedding trip to
New England and Canada. Tlie
bride wore a blue and white linen
dress, blue linen coat, white hat
and a white orchid for traveling.
Mr. and Mrs. Walker will reside
at 34 Chestnut St.. Gloversville.
The bride is a graduate of Gloversville
High School and attended
West Virginia Wesleyan College.
She is employed in the Trust Company
of Fulton County.
The bridegroom js a graduate of
Gloversville High School and is
employed by the Lea Dyeing Co.
