TONAWANDA-Mrs Helena Hubman.
66, wife of the late Albert H.
Hubman. Town of Tonawanda mer-
chant for many years, died last
night at her home, 96 Clinton street,
after an illness of two weeks.
A lifelong resident, Mrs. Hubman
was a member of the First Presby-
terian church and the Women's as-
sociation of the church, of which
she was treasurer for 26 years. She
was also a member of the Tri-C class
of the Sunday school, which she attended
for more than 13 years.
Other organizations in which she
held membership were the Shakespeare
club and the Social Literary
club.
She is survived by two sisters. Mrs
Harriet Rech and Mrs. Frank John-
son of Tonawanda.
The funeral will be held Satur-
day at 2:30 p.m. at the Hamp fu-
neral home, 37 Adam street. The
Rev. Wesley Baker, former First
Presbyterian church pastor, and
the Rev. Stanley Boughton, present
pastor, will officiate. Interment
will be in Elmlawn cemetery.
