BERGHOLTZ, Sept. 13 - The
altar of Holy Ghost Lutheran
Church was adorned with baskets
of white snapdragons, gladioli and
mixed flowers and white satin
bows tied with white gladioli
marked the family pew, for the
wedding of Miss Dawn C. Furry,
MR. 25, and Robert C. Kelly, RD
2, North Tonawanda.
Roger Smith sang, ''Because,"
°The Wedding Prayer," and "The
Lord's Prayer," While Miss Dolores
Jagow, cousin of the bride,
accompanied at the organ for the
double ring rites performed by
the Rev. Victor Dahlke for the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rolland
H. Furry, MR 25, Niagara Falls,
and the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Clarence Kelly, RD 2, Nash Rd.,
North Tonawanda.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride wore a bridal gown of
imported embroidered tulle accenting
a square neckline, printed
sleeves, a basque, bodice, bouffant
skirt with embroidered tulle front
panel and back panel of nylon
tulle. Her bridal veil, in two-tiered
scalloped circles of imported illusion,
was caught by a rhinestone
coronet. She carried a heart-shaped
bouquet of red and white roses.
Miss Lois Ann Hascley was
maid of honor. She wore petal
pink basque bodice and gathered
skirt flouncing on all minute ruffled
back flaired skirt overlapped
by a bustle ruffle. She wore a picture
hat in pink with spray ruffles
and carried a colonial bouquet of
aqua carnations.
The matron of honor, Mrs.
Roger Walck, wore shaded turquoise
nylon tulle with sweetheart
neckline, sheered shoulderettes,
basque bodice and gathered skirt
The bridesmaids were Joanne
Furry, cousin, of the bride, Beverly
Kelly, sister, of the bridegroom,
and Betty Lou Hassen.
The junior bridesmaid was Dianne
Furry, sister of the bride. The
bridesmaids' gowns were in five
shades of aqua and similar to
that of the bride and all carried
a colonial bouquet of pink carnations.
The flower girl. Judith
Fcrchen, niece of ihe bridegroom,
wore petal pink with sweetheart
head piece and she carried a colonial
bouquet..
Howard Gordon Able served
as best man and the ushers included
Leonard Camann, Raymond
Kelly, John Farino and David
Hannel.
The reception took place at the
Bergholtz Firehall at 5:30 p.m.
for 375 guests.
The mother of the bride chose
a iridescent wine crystallete backless
dress with matching jacket.
Black velvet accessories and a
yellow. corsage of mixed flowers.
. The bridegroom's mother favored
for her son's wedding a navy
blue dress with white and blue
accessories and a pink corsage of
mixed flowers.
The bride's grandmother chose
light blue crystalette with black
accessories and a white and pink
corsage.
The bride chose for her traveling
costume a beige cashmere suit
and bown accessories and wore an
orchid. After a wedding trip to
Virginia Beach, the couple will reside
at MR 25, Old Falls Blvd.,
Niagara Falls.
Pre-nuptial affairs were given
by Lois Ann Haseley, Betty Lou
Hassen, Mrs. Roger Walck, and
Mrs. Edwin Sherrer, Mrs. Harry
Camann, Beverly Kelly, Mrs. John
Farino and Mrs. Kenneth Ferchen
and Mrs. Norman Camann.
