A memorial service for Cheryl M. Borzillieri, a photographer and art patron, was held Sunday in Castellani Art Museum at Niagara University.
She died Feb. 10, 2000, in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, after a long illness. She was 49.
Born Cheryl Laur in Lewiston, she attended Amherst High School and Villa Maria College.
A longtime Snyder resident, in the 1990s she owned and operated Through the Looking Glass, a boutique in Williamsville.
She had a lifelong interest in the arts, and her intimate still- life photos of ordinary items such as trash cans, shopping carts, recliners and Easter eggs were widely exhibited locally.
