LOCKPORT-Ralph A. Maynard,
47, a veteran of the first World
War, died yesterday at his home,
Johnson Creek road, Middleport. In
the first war he served overseas
with the 307th Infantry. He was
both gassed and wounded. Since the
war he had operated a farm and
dealt in horses.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ethel
Maynard; a daughter, Mrs. Leon
Pickles, of this city; his mother,
Mrs. Alice Maynard; five sisters.
Mrs. Paul Goetz, of Medina, Mrs.
Walter Goetz, of Lyndonville, Mrs.
John Wittcop. of this city, Mrs. Wilson
King, of Medina, and Mrs. Paul
Hedley, of Olcott, and five brothers,
Frank, of Medina, Edward, of this
city Eugene Everett and Arthur, all
of Wright's Corners
Services will be held Saturday at
2 o'clock at the home, with burial
in Hartland Central cemetery.
