Miss Dorothy Werth and Private
Donald Stiles have set Thursday,
November 18. as the date for their
wedding, which will take place
7:30 o'clock In the Calvary Lutheran
church, with the Rev Alwin J.
Prange officiating
The bride-elect Is the daughter
of Mr and Mrs Edward A Werth,
of the Creek road. Lewlston. N Y .
and the bridegroom-elect, who is
stationed m Camp Stewart, Ga is
the son of Mrs Juna Stiles, of New
York City Friends are invited to
attend.

Calvary Lutheran church was the
scene of a very pretty wedding on
Thanksgiving Day when Dorothy
Marie Werth. daughter of Mr. and
Mrs E. A. Werth. of Lewlston. NY.,
became the bride of Private Donald
R Stiles, of the Anti-Air Craft battalion
son of Mrs. Julia Stiles, of
New York City. The ceremony was
performed by the Rev. Alwln J.
Prange.
The bride, given in marriage by
her fnther, wore a gown of moiissollne
de sole over while satin, with
a train flowing from a gathered
waistline. Her lace-trimmed fingertip
veil was fashioned with a tiara
of orange blossoms. She wore a
double strand of pearls, the gift of
the bridegroom, and carried a white
silk prayer book arranged with white
white rosebuds.
Miss Lorraine Fritz, cousin of the
bride, was maid of honor. She wore
a floor-length gown of pale blue
sljk Jersey and carried a colonial
bouquet of roses and pom-poms. Her
headdress was of blue net caught
with pink velvet flowers.

was best man snd the Ushers
were Mr Henry ZJske and Mr. Norman
Roszrl. uncle of the bride
The mother of the bride wore
aquamarine crepe with black accessories
and the mother of the bridegroom
chose soldier blue crepe with
block accessories. Both wore corsage.*
of gardenias and rosebuds.
Before the ceremony Mrs. K. Eglof
sang "Because " The wedding march
and other organ selections were
played by Mr Victor Betts
A wedding reception was held at
the hoihe of the bride Immediately

Stiles will return to Camp Stewart.
Ga and Mrs. Stiles will be at home
at 454 Riverside drive, New York
temporarily.
Among those who entertained for
the bride were Mrs. Henry Ziske,
with a bedroom shower, Miss Lor-
ralne fritz, with a personal shower,
and Mrs. William Frits and Mrs.
Howard Reith, with a variety shower.
Mrs. Julia Stiles held open
house for the. bride arid groom upon
their Arrival at New York City.
