RECENTLY WED - Mr. and
Mrs. Chester Westgate, who were
recently married at the Zion Lutheran
Evangelical church, Michigan
avenue and Tenth street. The
bnde is the former Miss Mildred
Guennel. daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. William Guennel Twentyninth
street. The bridegroom is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry
Westgate. Twenty-fourth street.

The marriage of Miss Mildred E.
Guennel and Mr. Chester Westgate
was solemnized Saturday at the
Zlon Evangelical Lutheran church,
Michigan avenue and Tenth street,
with the Rev. Arthur M. Schmoyer,
D.D. officiating at the double ring
ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. William Guennel, Twentyninth
street. The bridegroom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Westgate.
Sr.. Twenty-fourth street.
Mrs. Eve H. Vosburgh and Mrs.
William Smale provided the musical
setting for the ceremony. White
gladioli, gypsophila and ferns were
effective in their decorations in the
cburch.
The bride, given In marriage by
her father, wore silk marquisette
over satin, the fulll skirt falling in a
long train and the bodice with lace
trim. Her double illusion veil, edged
with Irish lace, fell from a Juliet
cap. Her bouquet was of white roses,
sweet peas and gypsophila.
Mrs. Arthur E. Martin was ma-
tron honor and Miss Netta Ma-
thieson, Niagara Falls, Ont., and
Mrs. George chambers, this city,
were the bridesmaids.
Mr. Harry Westgate was the best
Man with Mr. George Chambers and
Mr. Arthur E. Martin, ushers.
After a reception, Mr. Westgate
and his bride left on a trip to New
York City, Washington, D. C., and
to Bermuda. The bride traveled in
a brown and beige emsemble with
brown accessories.
Mr. and Mrs. Westgate will reside
on Twenty-ninth street.
