NORTH TONAWANDA — Audrey M. Kaiser passed away on May 18, 2011 in Niagara Hospice House. Born on January 16, 1931 in Ransomville she was the daughter of Hiram and Hilda (Shrader) Whitcher.
Audrey worked for William Brothers Department Store where her relationship with the Williams family flourished to a point where Mr. Williams loaned her the money to buy her first car, a convertible and Audrey paid him back every week out of her paycheck. She also worked at Bell Telephone as an operator and Harrison Radiator. She volunteered at the Lockport Public Library as a library assistant. Audrey quit working to stay home and become a dedicated housewife and mother, taking care of her family in every aspect. She belonged to many decorating committees and Audrey loved ceramic making, candy making, silk flower making, cake making, painting, drawing, and was also a wonderful piano player.
Audrey is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Kaiser; beloved mother to Todd (Pam) Kaiser and Randy (Tracy) Kaiser; cherished grandmother to Kerri (Shane) Newman and Jeremy Kaiser; caring great grandmother to Kyle Kaiser, Thomas and Cam Newman.
Relatives and friends may call on SATURDAY from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport, where funeral services will be held MONDAY at 10 AM. Interment will be in North Ridge Cemetery.
