- Obituary of Lamont Kneeppel Lamont H. Kneeppel, age 84 of Ransomville went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday May11, 2015 in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston.Lamont was born September 11, 1930 in Lewiston, the son of the late Harry F. and Izora O. (White) Kneeppel. He was owner and operator of Kneeppel Electrical Salvage in Ransomville for many years. He also worked on the Power Project for many years. Lamont attended the Tuscarora Indian Mission where his late wife Karen E. (Jones) Kneeppel had served as Pastor from 1987 to 1998. He had served as Maintenance Superintendent at the Mission for many years as well. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his beloved family.He is survived by two sons, Marvin (Carolyn) Kneeppel and Wayne (Barbara) Kneeppel; two step sons, Donald (Alexis) Robinson and Kent G. (late Gina) Robinson; three step daughters, Karla (John) Baker, Khris (John) Van-Arx, and Stephanie Smith; a sister, JoAnne V. (Donald) Smith; two sisters in law, Betty Kneeppel and Mary Neadow; and a step son in law, James Davis. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a step daughter, Karlene Jo Davis, a brother, Harry Kneeppel, and a half brother, Virgil Neadow, Sr.Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 16, at 12:00 Noon at the Tuscarora Indian Mission,5035 Walmore Rd., with the Rev. Donald Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in North Ridge Cemetery, Church Rd., Town of Cambria. Memorials may be made to the Tuscarora Indian Mission Building Fund, 1906 Mt. Hope Rd. Lewiston, NY 14092.
