Arnold David Kaeppeler, 39,, of 1409 Thirteenth street, died of a heart attack yesterday afternoon while en route to the Memorial hospital soon after be fell from his car in front of the home of Dr. Alfred C. Alessi, 1222 Pine avenue, with whom he had an appointment. Mr. Kaeppeler became ill while working Saturday night at the Vanadlum Corporation of America where he was'employed as a recorder. However, be remained at work after he had received some relief at the company's first aid room. After arriving home Mr. Kaeppeler made an appointment with Dr. Alessi for an examination to determine his ailment, a member of the family said. Born in this city April 17, 1901, a son of the late John C. and Roslna Laur Kaeppeler, he bad lived here all his life. Re had been employed as a chemical operator at the Niacet company, a division of the Vanadium Corporation of America from 1929 to 1943. On July 5,1930, he was married to Miss Hazel A. Stanley, who survives. Other survivors include two daughters, the Misses Barbara J. and Patricia Ann Kaeppeler and a son, Arnold David Kaeppeler, Jr„ two brothers,' Karl and, Jonathan Kaeppeler and two sisters, Mrs. Rose O'Mara and Mrs. Catherine MacKenna, all of this city* Funeral services will be held at the borne at 2 p. m., Wednesday: The Rev. Arthur H Schmoyer, DD., pastor of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran church, will officiate. Interment will be in Oakwood cemetery
