A quiet wedding was solemnized
Saturday afternoon, March 2, at 3
o'clock in the First Evangelical
church when Miss Jessie Leverenz
became the bride of Mr. La Vern
Wienke, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Wienke of 14 Walter ave-
nue. The ceremony was perform-
ed by the Rev. Henry J. Dute.
The bride wore a gown of light
blue crepe with hat to match and
a corsage of pink roses, sweet peas
and forget-me-nots. Miss Evelyn
Leverenz was her sister's maid of
honor, wearing navy blue crepe
with white lace trimming, a white
hat, and a corsage of roses and
sweet peas. Mr. Rayamond Morn-
ingstar attended Mr. Wienke as
best man.
A wedding dinner followed the
ceremony, at the home of the
groom's parents, covers being laid
for ten at the bride's table which
was centered with a large wedding
cake.
Mr. and Mrs. Wienke are making
their home in 419 Delaware street.
