Mrs. Alice Marshall Wilcox,
was killed, and her husband,
Frank Wilcox, was critically injured
in an automobile crash last
week when, according to police
reports, Ivan James Baxter, 64
Shepard avenue, Kenmore failed
to stop for a red light and smashed
into the Wilcox car on Delaware
avenue near the Kenmore
theatre.
Mrs. Wilcox died Wednesday at
Millard Fillmore hospital in Buffalo,
where her husband is confined.
Charges of failing to stop
lor a red light, criminal negligence,
and fleeing the scene of an
accident were lodged against Baxter
by the Kenmore police.
Many friends of the Wilcox family
in the Tonawandas will attend
funeral services for Mrs. Wilcox
at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow from the
Bury Funeral Home. 2798 Delaware
avenue, Kenmore. Burial
will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
The Wilcox family have lived in
Kenmore for 25 years. Frank
Wilcox is a well known building
contractor in the Niagara Frontier.
A daughter, Mrs. Bessie Wilson
of Woodhaven, L. I., survives.
