LOCKPORT-Mrs. Alice Bergen,
78, of 327 High St., died at
Lockport Memorial Hospital
Thursday (Aug. 29, 1968) after
a long illness.
She was the widow of the
Rev. Harry H. 'Bergen, who
served as pastor of the Plymouth
Congregational Church
here for many years. He died in
1954.
She was born July 18, 1890,
in Lewiston, the daughter of W.
Edward and Linda Bradlee Calvert.
She married the Rev. Mr.
Bergen in 1928.
She was a member of the
Walton Congregational Church
in Walton, N.Y., and in 1961
was made a We member of
the Willowemoc Chapter, Order
of Eastern Star at Walton.
She is survived by two stepsons,
Robert H. Bergen of Williamsville
and Jay H. Bergen
of Wapping, Conn.; two grandsons,
Mark Bergen of Wapping,
and Donald Bergen of Chicago
and several cousins.
Friends may call from 2 to 4
p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the
Prudden and Kandt Funeral
Home where services will be
held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. The
Rev. Russell Shaffer will officiate.
Burial will be in Cold Spring
Cemtery.
