An ankle length gown of white bridal satin was worn
by Miss Gladys June Fox for her mariage to Lloyd Norman
Benthin July 26 at 7:30 p.m. in St. Paul's Evangelical and
Reformed Church of Shawnee. The Rev. E. Sideris officiated
before the gladioli adorned altar.
The bride is the daughter of' Mr. &
and Mrs. Elmer Fox of Sweeney
St. and the bridegroom is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. John Benthin of
Shawnee Rd., Sanborn.
A sweetheart neckline of; illusion
and sleeves ending in points upon
the wrists complimented the bridal
costume. A crown of white apple
blossoms held the veil of illusion.
White carnations and baby's breath
formed the bouquet.
Miss June Schrieber, maid of honor,
wore a strapless gown of lavender
net and a lace cape. The
bridesmaid, Miss Audrey Fox, was
similarly gowned in green. Both
carried yellow roses and carnations.
Ronald Fox was best man. Ushering
were Clifford Gauda and Roger
Benthin. ' .
An aqua,silk print dress with
whits accessories and a corsage, of
yellow roses was selected by the
bride's mother. Mrs. Benthin favored,
a navy ensemble accented by
pink- roses," ' .
A reception for iso people was
given at the Shawnee Fire Hall-
Out of town guests-were from Bergen,
Lockport, Medina, Buffalo and
Wilson.
The b r i d a l couple journeyed
through the Finger Lake region for
their honeymoon. Mrs. Benthin is
now at home with her parents in
Sweeney St. Her husband has left
for army training.
Shower hostesses were Miss Audrey
Fox, Miss June Schrieber and
Mrs. Milo Barber.
