White gladioli graced the altar
of the First Baptist Church July
23. 1955. for the double-ring
ceremony uniting in marriage
Miss Mary Jane Lenz and William
Holloway. The Rev. Donald
A. Robertson officiated at the
rites for the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. William Lenz and the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Hollo-
Way, North Manchester, Ind.
Mrs. Edward Roth, grandmother
of the bride, was the
soloist.
Given in maruage by her
father, the bride wore rosepoint
lace over satin with a scalloped
neckline trimmed with sequins.
Her fingertip-length veil fell from
a cap encrusted with pearls and
she carried a white prayer book
mounted with white roses.
Attending the bride was her
lister. Mrs. Anthony La Marca,
matron of honor, who was attired
in an orchid crysialcttc silk
and net frock with a matching
picture hat. She carried a bouquet
of yellow roses.
Miss Shirley Bowser and Miss
Nancy Lenz. sister of the bride,
were the bridal attendants in
gowns of canary crystalefte
silk and net with matching
picture hats, Each carried a
colonial bouquet of pink roses.
Leslie Curtis was the best man
while guests were seated at the
ceremony by Ray Bustra and
Timothy Tutt.
For her daughter's wedding,
the mother of the bride chose an
orchid lace dress with white accessories
and a corsage of yellow
roses.
The reception was held at the
home of the bride in Third St.
For a trip through the southern
states, the bride selected a
powder blue suit. Mr. and Mrs.
Holloway will make, their home
in Huntington, Ind.
