Barbara Wilson resident of Wilson, NY wife of the late Wayne “Ding” Wilson entered into rest on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, in Lockport, NY. She was born in Lockport on March 13, 1939, daughter of the late Norman Lort and Delores Salmons Lort
Barbara worked as a secretary for S.E. Parker. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Wilson Fire Co. Auxiliary for 66 years.
Mother of Timothy Wilson and Tanis (Timothy) Strassburg. Grandmother of Tyler (Megan Snyder) Strassburg, Justin Strassburg and Michelle Strassburg. Sister of Norma Jean (John) Logan. Also survived by 3 nieces.
Family and friends may call at the Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, Inc. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY on Sunday, February 4, 2024, from 1-5pm where a funeral service will be held on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 11am. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Wilson, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wilson Fire Co. Auxiliary.
