Mr. and Mrs. John Papp, 57
Glennood Ave., announce the re-
cent marriage of their daughter,
Joan Marie, to Ronald Paul Dorn
in St. Francis of Assisi Church. St.
Vases of white gladioli and pompons
adorned the altar for the ceremony
which was performed Sept.
23 by the Rev. Wilbur Yaeger.
The bride wore a gown of Chantilly
lace and nylon tale over satin
fashioned with a lace bodice, prin-
cess style with scoop neckline and
long sleeves and a floor length
skirt with a chapel length train of
tulle. Her fingertip veil was fasten-
ed to a small hat of Chantilly lace
trimmed with seed pearls. The
bride carried a cascade of white
orchids and chrysanthemums.
Miss Mary Mowitz, maid of hon-
or, wore a strapless gown of yel-
low rice paper taffeta with a lace
trimmed bodice and bouffant
skirt. a matching jacket with el-
bow length sleeves and lace la-
pels and a sweetheart picture hat
completed her costume. In identi-
cal costumes of aqua were the
brides maids, the Misses Janet
Goiler and Shirley House. All at-
tendants wore white gloves and
carried cascades of white glamelias
and shattered carnations. The
flower girl wore a frock of yellow
chromspun taffeta fashioned with
a Peter Pan collar puffed sleeves
and a full skirt. Her matching
sweetheart hat was trimmed with
white flowers and she wore white
gloves. She carried a basket of rose
petals.
Harry Dorn Jr., attended his
brother as best man and the ushers
were Robert Papp, W a l t e r
Nowak. Wiliam Leber was the ring
bearer. A wedding breakfast and
reception were given in American
Legion Post Home, Main St. The
bride's table covered with white
was centered with a wedding cake
and white tapers.
Traveling to Florida for a two
week's honeymoon, the bride chose
a navy wool suit with pink acces-
sories and wore white orchids.
Hostesses at pre-nuptial parties
included the bride's attendants;
Mrs. John Papp, office girls of the
Niagara Mohawk Power Corp.,
who entertained at dinner; Mrs.
Harry Dorn Sr., and Mrs. Harry
Dorn, Jr.
