LOCKPORT - A longtime
city resident, Mrs. Carrie B.
Cooper, 87, of 808 Walnut St.,
died Tuesday (June 30,1982) at
Lockport Memorial Hospital
after a three-month illness.
Born Feb. 8, 1872 In Elba,
N. Y., Mrs. Cooper was the
daughter of Melvln and Isabella
Forest Davis. A Lockport
resident for 45 years, Mrs.
Cooper lived 41 years at the
Walnut St. address. She was
the widow cf William E.
Cooper.
Survivors Include a son, Glfford
B. Cooper, Lockport;
three daughters, Mrs. George
Crouie, Lockport, Mrs. Carter
Plant, Orlando, Fla., and -Mrs.
Edward Schrelber, Bayport,
Long Island; a sister, Mrs.
John Dutton, Batavia; 11
grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren
and two great-greatgrandchildren.
Services will be held at 2
p.m. Friday at the Joseph M.
Kennedy Funeral Home Inc.
The Rev. Herbert L. Siegner,
of St. Peter's United Church
of Christ, will officiate. Burial
will be in cold Springs
Cemetery.
