Joseph G. Winker, 59, of 2488
Whitney Ave., was pronounced
dead on arrival at Memorial
H. o s pital Saturday afternoon
(May 24,1969) after being stricken
with an apparent heart attack
at home.
Mr Winker, a native and lifelong
resident of Niagara Falls,
was a shift foreman in the generator
department at Union
Carbide Corp., where he had
worked for 31 years.
He was a member of .Union
Carbide 25-Year-Club arid of the
First Baptist Church here. He
was also a member of the Industrial
Golf League.
Mr. Winker is survived by his
widow, Mrs. M. a r i e (Rew)
Winker; three sons, David G.
Winker, this city; Army SgL
Milton J. Winker, DaNang,
South .Vietnam, and Gary L.
Winker, in the Army "at Fort
Dix, N.Y,; a sister, Mrs. Arthur
Alice) Boswell, Lewiston; his
mother, Mrs. Annie Winker, also
of Lewiston, arid one grandson.
Funeral services will be held
Wednesday at the Otto Redanz
Funeral Home, with the Rev.
Pierre Tangent of First Baptist
Church officiating. Burial will
be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends, may call at tse funeral
home from 7 to 9 p.m. today
and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday.,
