Miss Elizabeth Winter, 46 years
old, of 56 Elmwood avenue, Buffalo,
died in Mount St. Mary's hospital
here at 12:25 o'clock this morning
after a long illness. The funeral will
be held from the home of her
mother, Mrs. Anna Winter, 1311
Willow avenue, at 2:30 p.m., Saturday,
with burial to the family plot
In Oakwood cemetery.
Miss Winter was born in Niagara
Falls and spent most of her life
to this city. Besides her mother,
she to survived by three brothers,
Patrolman Edward Winter, of the
city police department, and Engineer
Alfred Winter and Captain Arthur
Winter, of the fire department;
a sister, Mrs. Esther Matthews, wife
of Patrolman Martin Matthews;
three nieces, the Misses Marlon,
Elizabeth and Eileen Matthews, and
two nephews, Martin Matthews, Jr.,
and Richard Winter.
