- Kenneth R. Lum, 74, of Niagara Falls, NY, went to be with the Lord on September 13, 2015 after a lengthy illness. He was born on January 15, 1941 to the late Lewis and Lillian (Forsythe) Lum
Ken had been employed with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., Triad Pest Control and most recently retired from Falls Pest Control, of which he was the owner.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his former wife Sarah Zappendorf, his three children: Theresa (John) Garner, Deborah (Tim) Swanson and Patrick Lum, three grandchildren: Cassandra Lum, Nicole Lum and Nathaniel Swanson and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ken was predeceased by his wife of 30 years, Gloria Jean (Brown) Lum, two sisters: Betty Freiermuth and Lorraine Kendrick and three brothers Lewis, Jr., Sonny and Ernest Lum
Friends may call on Friday, September 18th from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. and on Saturday September 19th at 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM where a celebration of Ken’s Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. in the Lewiston Assembly of God Church, 4754 Creek Road, Lewiston followed by interment in North Ridge Cemetery, Town of Cambria.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt “thank you” to the loving staff that cared for Ken in his home during his illness and to Niagara Hospice for the compassionate care given to him.
