St. Christopher's Shrine on Niagara
Falls boulevard was the
scene of an impressive outdoor
wedding ceremony when Miss
Doris Regnet, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Raymond Regnet of 41 Seymour
street and James Harms,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Harms of 149 Pine street, took;
their marriage vows on Saturday,
July 12, at 10 a. m.
The bride, who was escorted to
the altar by her father, wore a
white gown of net and satin, the
off-shoulder bodice of the satin
with a full skirt of net joined to
the bodice by a ruffle. Her finger-
tip veil, edged with a ruffle,
was caught to her hair with clusters
of lillies of the valley. She
carried a shower bouquet of
white carnations and baby breath
with sweeet peas on the satin
streamers.
Mrs. Donald Howard, the matron
of honor, wore a delicate pink
costume and carried a bouquet of
red and pink carnations. The
bridesmaids were Mrs. Harrison
Havens, in blue, with a bouquet
of yellow-dyed carnations, and
Miss June Harms, in yellow with
blue-dyed carnations. Marvin
Haines was best man and the
ushers were Jack Koch and Donald
Regnet.
Mrs. Harms and Mrs. Regnet
both chose black and white print
dresses with harmonizing accessories
and colorful corsages. The
grandmother of the groom wore an
orchid and white costume with a
corsage of red roses and white
carnations.
The wedding breakfast was
served at the home of the bride's
parents. A reception was held
at Labor hall in Tremont street.
For her honeymoon to Cedar
Point, O., Mrs. Harms wore a
brown suit with white accessories.
Mr. and Mrs. Harms are now at
home at 149 Pine street.
