TONAWANDA - William D.
Woodrich, 74, of 27 DeKalb St.,
a retired supervisor for the
Niagara Mohawk Power Corp.,
died Friday (Jan. 17, 1969) at
DeGraff Memorial Hospital af-
ter a short illness.
He was a lifelong resident of
this city and served as super-
visor for outside operations for
the power company for 40
years, retiring in 1960.
He was a member of Salem
United Church of Christ, 50-year
member of Columbia Hook and
Ladder Company, 50-year
member of Electric City Lodge
553 of the Odd Fellows, a 25-
yeaar member of the Niagara
Mohawk Power Corp Club, and
a member of the Dewey Avenue
foremen's Club of the power
company.
He wife, the former Hertha
C. Kluge, died in May 1961.
Survivors include a daughter,
mrs. Kenneth (Betty) Dahl of
this city; two sisters, Mrs.
Herman Meisner and Mrs.
Ernest Achterberg, both of
North Tonawanda, and two
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be
conducted at 2 p.m. Monday
at the Creasey Memorial Chapel
by the Rev. Karl H. A. Rest
and Lloyd Larson. Burial will
be in Elmlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at the
funeral home from 2 to 4 and
7 to 9 p.m.
