the engagement of their daughter,

Marriage vows were repeated
at Sacred Heart Church on Sat
urday, Sept. .15, 1956, by Mist
Ellen Diane Sodano, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Sodano,
Walnut Ave., and Victor Zafuto,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel
Zafuto, 19th. St. The doublering
ceremony was officiated by
the Rev. Frances Gardner.
Escorted down the aisle by her
brother, Robert Sodano, the
bride wore a gown of whita
Chantilly lace over satin, fashioned
by her classmate in nursing
school, Miss Barbara Schuler,
Lockport. The bride carried
a prayer book covered with
white carnations and lilies of the
valley.
Miss Margaret Mind], the
bride's only attendant, wore a
turquoise blue, ballerina-length
gown with matching hat. She
carried a colonial bouquet -of
pink and white carnations. John
Donovan was best man.
The mothers of the bride and
bridegroom both chose navy blue
outfits and white accessories.
Each bad a corsage of whita
carnations for the reception
held at the Joy Club.
For a wedding trip to Canada,
the bride chose a grey suit with
turquoise accessories, and a corsage
of white carnations. Upon
their return, Mr. and Mrs.
Zafuto will reside at 331 3rd
St.
