PEKIN-Mrs. Viola Wray, 69, of 3072 Upper Mountain
Road, this community, died Sunday (May 22,
1966) at Millard Fillmore Hospital, Buffalo, after a
short illness.
Born July 17, 1896, in Port
Elgin, Ont., she was a daughter
of J o h n and R e b e k a
Seifert.
Mrs. Wray was active in
the Pekin Methodist Church.
She also was a member of
the Woman's Society of Christian
Service of the church, a
member of the Pekin Volunteer
Fire Co. auxiliary and a
life member of the Pekin Parent
Teacher Association.
She Is survived by her husband,
Austin Wray; a son,
Robert Wray, Sanborn; three
sisters, Mrs. Margaret Charsley,
Tonawanda, Mrs. Nellie
Welch, East Aurora, and Mrs.
Mabel Senton, Port Elgin;
three brothers, Howard, Elmer
and Isadore Seifert, all
of Port Elgin, and four grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to
5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Pike
and Jones Funeral Home,
Sanborn, where services will
be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday
by Rev. James M.
Pollard, pastor of the Pekin
Methodist Church. Burial will
be in Mount View Cemetery,
Pekin..
The family said donations to
the Pekin Methodist Church
Memorial Fund would be acceptable
as tribute.
