    SYRACUSE-Mrs. Mayme S.
    Zahno, 83, of 96 Locust St.,
    Lockport, died after suffering
    an apparent heart attack Thursday
    (Sept. 26, 1968) en route to
    a hospital here.
    * She had been visiting at the
    home of her brother, John
    Smith, of Beaver Falls.
    Mrs. Zahno was born in
    feeavef Falls, March 9, 1885,
    the daughter of Philander and
    Mary Wisner Smith. She was
    6ie wife of Henry Zahno who
    died in 1961.
    Since her husband's death,
    Mrs. Zahno has been living in
    Lockport where she was a
    member of the senior citizens
    club. Prior to that, the family
    had lived in Buffalo for 40
    years.
    Besides her brother, she is
    survived by two daughters,
    Mrs; Earl W. Peckham of Lockport
    and Mrs. Norman V, Ingram
    of North Ridge; five
    grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren,
    and a sister,
    Mrs. Harry Jones of Beaver
    Falls.
    Friends may call beginning
    Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to
    9 p.m. at the Gaul Funeral
    Home where services will be
    held at 2 p.m. Monday.
    Burial will be in North Ridge
    Cemetery.

    Mayme married ZAHNO, Henry on 29 Mar 1905 in Beaver Falls, Lewis County, NY. Henry (son of ZAHNO, Frederick and SCHULTZ, Augusta) was born on 14 Aug 1882 in Town of Lewiston, Niagara County, NY; died on 6 Nov 1961 in Lockport, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
