    LEWISTON — Dennis "Bud" Cantlon, age 74, of Sanborn, was called to his heavenly home on Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on March 1, 1938 to the late Daniel and Susan (Greene) Cantlon. He was employed at the former Hibbard Engineers for 17 years and then worked as a Design Draftsman at TAM Ceramics, in Niagara Falls, until his retirement. Bud was a former active member of Tri-Community Ambulance Service, Inc. and received their Life Membership Award. Hobbies included woodworking, gardening, doing home remodeling projects and enjoyed going for walks.

    Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Sandy (Loree) Cantlon; four children, Debbie (Brian) Wilkesmore of Columbus, OH, Mindy (David) Straube of Houston, TX, Mike (Kim) Cantlon of Jacksonville, FL, and Scott (Leann) Cantlon of Arnold, MD; 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; two brothers, James (Ginny) Cantlon and Daniel (Claudia) Cantlon; and a sister, Judy Brennen.

    Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road (Bergholz), in Wheatfield, on Saturday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A prayer service will follow the visitation at 8 PM, with the Rev. Michael Keicher officiating. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tri-Community Ambulance Service, Inc., 6276 Ward Road, Sanborn, NY 14132; or the Alzheimer's Association of WNY, 2805 Wehrle Drive, Suite 6, Williamsville, NY 14221.
