    Saturday morning at the home of her
    daughter, Mrs. george Pletcher, 94
    Tremont street. Mrs. Hall was born in
    England. She came to America 62
    years ago and with the exception of
    the first two years had resided in the
    Tonawandas during her stay in this
    country. Besides her daughter, Mrs.
    Pletcher, a son, George H. Hall, of
    Tonawanda, survives. The funeral
    was held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock
    at the Pletcher residence. Interment
    in Elmlawn.

    Sunday afternoon at 3:20 o'clock at

    Mrs. Emma A. Pletcher, 69 years
    old, died yesterday afternoon at
    her home, 49 Tremont street, after
    a prolonged illness. She had re-
    sided in North Tonawanda for tne
    past 20 years and was a memoer
    of the Women's Relief Corps, W.
    B. Scott post, G.A.R., and the
    Women's Benefit Association.
    Surviving are a husband, George
    Pletcher; three sons Clarence of
    Niagara Falls and Harold and
    Willard Pletcher of North Tonawanda,
    five grandchildren, and
    two great grandchildren. Tne
    funeral will be held Monday afternoon
    at 2:30 o'clock from the residence.

    Mrs. Ida Pletcher, 62 years old, wife
    of Charles Pletcher, died .Wednesday

    afternoon at her home in the Colon-
    ial apartments. Mrs. Pitcher was ill
    with pneumonla at the DeGraff Mem-
    orial hospital and- returned home ap-
    parently recovering. She suffered a
    stroke three days ago and died - Wed-
    nesday. She is survived by her hus-
    band, four sons LeKoy. LeGrane Or-
    lee and Stanley, all of the Tona-
    wanda and 9 grand children, 3 great
    grandchildren, one brother. George
    Hall of Tonawanda and one sister,
    Mrs. George Pletcher of North Tona
    wanda. She was a member of Twin

    Amerlca. Funeral services will be held
    Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock in

    Marion Ida (Pletcher) Soforic Osborne, entered into eternal rest on May 25, 2019 in Gasport, NY, at the age of 97, while surrounded by her loving family. Marion was born to the late Orlee and Arena (Musall) Pletcher on August 30, 1921, in North Tonawanda, NY, where she continued to be a lifelong resident until her move to Absolut Care of Gasport in 2012.
    Marion was a loving wife to her first husband, the late Edward Soforic, who passed away in 1957, and to her second husband, the late Charlie Osborne, who passed away in 2009.
    She was preceded in death by one brother, LaVerne Pletcher; two sisters, Ora Graham and Lucille Goldsworthy; two step-children, Kathy (Don) Smith and Charlie Osborne; an infant grandson, Branden Lee Ohar; and infant twin granddaughters, Christine and Jennifer Warblow.
    Marion is survived by three children, Diane (Gary) Popovice of Palmetto, FL, Janice (George) Ohar of Wheatfield, NY, and Ronald (Darcy) Soforic of Lockport, NY.
    She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Kristin (Jay) Niles, Jill (Richard) Walker, Laura (Derek) Goforth, Aaron (Maureen) Ohar, Rebecca Ohar, Rachael Ohar, Jordan (Mandi) Ohar, Lindsey Soforic, Christien Soforic, and Danielle Soforic; as well as twelve great-grandchildren, one step-great-great-grandchild; four dear sisters in law, Ruth Soforic, Juan Pletcher, Ima Lee Jones, and Betty Lawter; many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
    Marion was known for her sweet disposition. She did not have an easy life, yet never complained. Marion never had a bad word to say about anyone- a beautiful soul. She enjoyed crafting, socializing, and most of all spending time with her family every chance she had.
    Marion was employed by Dr. Schopp, in her earlier years and retired from Niswander Eye Center, where she served as an Ophthalmologist Assistant. Marion was a lifelong member of Payne Avenue Christian Church, in North Tonawanda. She was a proud member of the Inter Amicos Club, which was a club that consisted of a continued high school sorority, that remained together as a close group of friends for approximately 65 year.
    A memorial service will be conducted by the Rev. Michael A. Keicher, on July 2 at 7:00 p.m., in the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, in Marion's memory.

    Lucille Arena (Pletcher) Goldsworthy passed away on August 18, 2018 in New Port Richey, Florida, at the age of 86. Lucille was born to the late Orlee and Arena (Musall) Pletcher on December 31, 1931.
    She was a loving wife to the late David Lee Goldsworthy. Lucille and David resided both in North Tonawanda, N,Y and in Richmond, VA. Most recently, Lucille lived in the Tampa, Florida, area.
    She was also preceded in death by her brother, LaVerne Pletcher; her sister, Ora Graham; and grandson, Scott David Slater.
    Lucille is survived by three daughters, Gale (Milo) Pearson, Cheryl (David) Duquette, Tammy McMahon; and her sister, Marion Soforic Osborne. She will be greatly missed by her five grandchildren, Amanda Lawson, Eric (Shannon) Duquette, Ryan (Katie) Duquette, Mallory Lawson O'Keefe, and Melissa Duquette; as well as her six (soon to be seveb) great-grandchildren; many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
    A private celebration of Lucille's life will be held at a future date.

    -Kenneth Pletcher, son of
    Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Ensminger
    of 247 Zimmerman boulevard,
    Kenmore, started the
    New Year right with a promotion
    to Corporal, dated
    Jan. 1. His wife is the former
    Leona Zimmerman of Morgan
    street, Tona. Cpl. Pletcher entered
    the service in August,
    1942. He received his basic
    training in the Medical Corps
    at Camp Pickett, Va., and is
    now stationed at Columbia,
    S. C. He has two brothers in
    the service, Robert Ensminger
    stationed In California and
    Floyd stationed In N o r th
    Dakota.

    Thursday (Sept. 24, 1981)
    at DeGraff Memorial Hospital
    after a long illness. A
    lifelong resident of the
    Tonawandas, he was the
    brother of the late Robert
    E. Ensminger and Lois
    Markovitz An Army veteran
    of World War U, he
    was a member of Grove
    Street Christian Church
    where he had been given
    the honor of Deacon
    Emeritus and was a
    committee member of Boy
    Scout Troop 580.
    He is survived by his
    wife, Leona A. (nee Zimmerman)
    Pletcher; a son,
    Kenneth P. (Harriet)
    Pletcher, Jr., and three
    grandchildren, Kevin,
    Kathleen and Daniel Pletcher,
    all of North Tonawanda;
    two brothers,
    Floyd (Dorothy) Ensminger
    of the Town of
    Tonawanda and Jack
    Pletcher of North Tonawanda
    and several nieces
    and nephews.
    Friends may call Friday
    evening from 7 to 9 and
    Saturday and Sunday from
    2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at
    John O. Roth Funeral
    Home, Morgan and
    William Sts., Tonawanda
    where services will be
    private and at the convenience
    of the family. Burial
    will be in Elmlawn Cemetery.
    Relatives and friends
    are cordially invited to
    attend a Memorial Service
    at 7 o'clock Monday evening
    at Grove Street Christian
    Church in Tonawanda,
    the Rev. Richard L. Speck
    will officiate. If desired,
    memorial contributions
    may be made to Boy Scout
    Troop 580, (Grove Street
    Christian Church)
