North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 12/1916

Mrs. Caroline Christine Fischer, 51
years old, wife of Peter J. Fischer of
353 Falconer street, died last evening
at the family residence, after a long
illness. Besides her husband, Mrs.
Fischer is survived by two daughters.
Miss Gertrude Fischer and Mrs. John
Reinbolt of North Tonawanda; four
brothers, Christian, Henry and John
Tussing of the Tonawandas and
George Tussing of Augusta, Ga.; three
sisters, Mrs. Peter Lockman, Mrs.
George. Haines and Miss Anna Tussing
of Tonawanda, and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon
at 2 o'clock from the residence.
Rev. R. P. Oehlschlapger of the English
Lutheran Church of the Redeemer
officiating, Interment will be made in
the Skinnersville cemetery.

Miss Gertrude M. Fischer, 45
years old, 353 Falconer street, died
this morning at the DeGraff Memorial
hospital. She was born in
Getzville. She resided here for the
last 33 years. She was a member
of the Redeemer Lutheran church.
Surviving are a father. Peter, and
a sister, Mrs. John Reinbolt, Wilson.
The funeral will be held
Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock
from the residence and half an hour
later from the Redeemer church.
Rev. H. G. Kleiner will officiate.
Burial at Skinnersville.

REINBOLT - Ruth C. Rein-
bolt of West Main Street, Olcott,
N.Y., wife of John E. Reinbolt,
entered into rest Friday (Dec. 25,
1964) at her home. Mother of
Mrs. Norma Kuhn of Tonawanda
and Paul and John Reinbolt of
Newfane. Also survived by 12
grandchildren and 12 great-
grandchildren. Friends may call
at their convenience at the Rut-
land-Corwin Funeral Home Inc.,
2670 Main St., Newfane. Funeral
services will be conducted Mon-
day, Dec. 28, at 10 a.m. Interment
will be in Corwin Cemetery, New-
fane. Memorials may be made to
the Lutheran Hour.

John P. Reinbolt of 10721 Mill
Road, Lyndonville, died Monday at
Medina Memorial Hospital.
He was born Dec. 2, 1920 in
Tonawanda, to the late John and
Ruth (Fisher) Reinbolt. He married
the former Dorothy Cook on Oct. 6,
1943 in Newfane.
Reinbolt retired in February of
this year from the Upson Co. in
Lockport where he had worked for
the past 24 years as a machine
operator. He was a member of St.
Peter's Lutheran Church in Medina.
Survivors include three sons,
Harry Reinbolt of Lyndonville,
Lester (Sue) Reinbolt and Alan
Reinbolt, of Rochester; and one
sister, Norma Kuhn of Tonawanda.
He was also brother of the late Paul
Reinbolt.
There will be no prior visitation. A
memorial service will be held
Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the
Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home Inc.,
2670 Main St., Newfane. Burial will
be at the convenience of the family.
Memorial gifts may be made to
the chairty of one's choice or St.
Peter's Lutheran Church, Medina

NEWFANE, March 29-A coroner's
inquest will be held into the
death of 16-year-old Donald Reinbolt,
who was struck by a car about
8 o'clock last evening in Ewings
road.
Seriously injured in the same
accident was his cousin, 15-yearold
Raymond Reinbolt, who b in
Lockport City Hospital with a
broken right leg, cerebral concussion,
cuts and bruises.
The coroner, Dr. Walter Altbaeh
of Newfane, said that Donald suffered
a fractured skull and broken
legs. Hi died instantly.
Caesar Wagner, 50, driver of the
car, who lives in Turnpike Rd.,
Town of Lockport, told the coroner
he was headed south when the boys
loomed up before him. He said
he was unable to avoid hitting them,
or-to stop the car in time.-
Donald was in the 10th grade
at Newfane Central School and
Raymond is in the 9th - grade.
Raymond's parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Roy Reinbolt, live in Bixler Rd.
Funeral services will be held
Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Glen H.
Corwin Funeral Home. The Rev.
D. C. Klam, Niagara Falls, elder
ot the Seventh Day Adventist
Church, will officiate. Burial will
be in Corwin Cemetery.

Ellen Daugherty Reinbolt, Donald
leaves a sister, Mrs. Alexander
Koncsol, North Tonawarda, a
brother, Wayne A. Reinbolt, at
home, and his grandparents, Mr.
