Hospital Mr Phelps was a member
of Payne Ave Christian Church,
Rescue Fire Co. #5 and the No
Tonawanda Firemens Benevolent
Association.
Mr Phelps is survived by his wife
Rita (nee Bell) Phelps; two sons,
Donald (Geraldine) Phelps of No.
Tonifwanda and David (Pat) Phelps
of Winterhaven, Fla.; one daughter
Mrs. Peter (Sharon) Christoff, No.
Tonawanda; nine grandchildren and
three great-grandchildren; also
survived by several nieces and
nephews. Son of the late Guy and
Sadie Phelps and brother of the late
Albert W Phelps
Friends may call Monday 7-9 p.m
and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the

Donald “Andy “Phelps, age 85, of North Tonawanda, passed away February 25, 2022.
Loving husband of 65 ½ years to Geraldine “Beth” Phelps; devoted father of Donna, Eric, Mark and Maria (Mike) Prygon; grandfather of the late Nicholas Sr, Eric, Stacie, Samantha (Kevin), Stephanie, Nikki, Mikaela, Jessica, Emalee, Jack and Gabby; great grandfather of Nicholas Jr (Brooke) and Mason; great great grandfather of Jace, Nicholas Donald, Theo and Aria and his faithful furry friend, Sam.
Don served in the Naval Air Force for 17 years; he retired from Durez following a 30 year career.
Don was a 62 year active member of Rescue #5 and a member of Loyal Order of Bobcats.
Don and his father owned Linwood Homes and built all the homes on Donald Drive in North Tonawanda which is named after him. Don and his son Mark built their camp in Cio, NY, where he enjoyed many years.
A Memorial Luncheon will be held March 27th, 2022 at 1 PM at Rescue Fire Hall, 1241 Strad Ave in North Tonawanda.

(nee Phelps) Christoff, age 75, of Wheatfield, passed away on August 13, 2014 following a lengthy illness. Born in Buffalo on January 16, 1939, daughter of the late Raymond and Rita (nee Bell) Phelps. Mrs. Christoff graduated from North Tonawanda High School, Class of 1956. She was a 53-year member of the Rescue Hose #5 Fire Company Auxiliary. Beloved wife of 56 years to Peter P. Christoff; loving mother of Valerie (James) Diermyer of Wheatfield, Karen (Mark) Zientara of Wheatfield and the late Steven and late Lisa Christoff; devoted grandmother of Lindsay and Andrew Kirsch, Kelli Diermyer and Dana and Kevin Zientara; sister of Donald (Gerri) Phelps of North Tonawanda and the late David (Pat) Phelps of Haines City, FL. Friends may call on Friday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the WATTENGEL Funeral Home, 307 Oliver St., North Tonawanda where Funeral Services will be held on Saturday (enter funeral home parking by way of alley from Robinson or Schenck St. due to Saturday's Art Show) at 10:30 AM. Funeral services will be conducted
Saturday for Steven M. and Lisa M.
Christoff, children of Mr, and Mrs.
Peter Christoff of 3745 Klemer Road,
Town of Wheatfield, The children wore
killed Sunday in an auto accident on
the Thruway near Blasdell-
Steven. 12. and Lisa, 11, were passengers
in their fathers car when it
was struck from behind, flipped over
and burst into flame.
Mr. and Mrs. Christoff were listed
in "fair" condition today at Emergency
Hospital in Buffalo. Another
child. Karen, 8. was reported in "critical"
condition at Children's Hospital
in Buffalo, where she is being treated
for burns that cover more than half of
her body. -
In addition to their parents and sister
Karen, the Christoff children are
survived by another sister, Valerie,
and their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
Raymond Phelps of North Tonawanda
and Mrs. Mary Kochen Christoff of
Niagara Falls.
Services will be conducted at 10:10
a.m. Saturday at Wattengel Funeral
Home, 307 Oliver St., North Tonawanda,
with the Rev. Gerald Kreuzer officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Olivet
Cemetery.
