LEWISTON, Aug. 24 - Funeral
services will be held at 9 a.m. tomorrow
at the new Catholic church
site, Upper Mountain road, for
Francois Brouillard, 26, Walmore
road, who was found dead in his
car at 7 a.m. yesterday by his wife,
Mrs. Betty Brouillard.
The dead man's uncle and neighbor,
Petej DeConti, called for the
inhalator squad from Lewiston-Fire
Company 1, but attempts to revive
the victim were fruitless.
Mrs. Brouillard said she and her
husband ° arrived home at 3 a.m.
and that when she retired for the
night she left him sitting at-the
kitchen table. She arose at 7 o'clock
and found the car with its ignition
on and out of gas-her husband
slumped inside. State troopers
Charles Bukowski and Robert Gilray
said the vehicle had a defective
muffler. Coroner James Heary issued
a certificate of death by asphyxiation.
The body was removed to Pike's
Funeral home, Sanborn. Burial
tomorrow will be at Mt. Hope
cemetery.
Besides his wife,, he is survived
by two children, Randy, 2, and
Francine, 11 months. He is also
survived by his mother, Mrs. Frances
Brouillard, Maniwaki, .Que., a
sister, Mrs. Jean. Read, this city;
and two brothers, Joseph Brouillard,
Tuscarora reservation, and
Roland Brouillard this city.
The dead man was a native of
Maniwaki and had lived here about
five years.
