Herbert H. Bailey of Niagara Falls, NY died January 10, 2021 at his home under the care of Niagara Hospice.
Born in Niagara Falls, he lived there for 97 years except for two years of service in the United States Navy, Pacific Theater with a PT Boat Squadron.  His High School education was through Trott Vocational High School where he completed coursework for Machinist/Tool and Die and apprenticed with the Carborundum Company prior to his Armed Forces service.  He returned to Carborundum for a 40 year tenure.
He was married to Dorothy E. (Campbell) Bailey for nearly 66 years prior to her death in 2013.  With her, he enjoyed a fantastic life, having active relationships with family, particularly a large cadre of cousins, beloved life long friends; many from ‘over the river’ in Canada, and cherished neighbors. Together, he and Dorothy traveled extensively by trains, planes and automobiles to tour the United States and Canada, as well as England. Golf was his favorite game before he became an armchair fan of the Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees. An avid reader and crossword puzzler in his quieter moments, he could always entertain masterfully with humor when he gathered with others.
He was predeceased by his parents and brother, cousins, PTBoat Crew and wife, Dorothy.  He is survived by three children; Craig (Frances) Bailey, Pam (Marc) Sroufe, Neil (Sharon Montgomery) Bailey, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, as well as his sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
 
A memorial service through Riverside Presbyterian Church, Niagara Falls is being postponed until such time as relatives and friends can be invited to technological participation.  Arrangements by the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC.

NIAGARA FALLS - Leslie Bailey, Sr., passed away at home on Tuesday, November 15, 2011. He was 82. He was born in Niagara Falls on September 11, 1929, a son of the late Thomas and Elsie (Hill) Bailey.
Mr. Bailey attended local schools and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School. He was formerly employed at Niagara Welding on Linwood Avenue and then worked at DuPont from which he retired after 30 years of service. Mr. Bailey enjoyed golfing, welding, reading, puzzles, computer games and handyman work.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette (Krieger) Bailey; three sons, Leslie (Carol) Bailey, Jr., Timothy (Ann Marie Miller) Bailey and David (Albie) Bailey; his brother, Herbert (Dorothy) Bailey; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.



There will be no prior visitation and a Memorial Service will be held at a time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Niagara Hospice House, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY. 14094.

David C. Bailey, of Las Vegas, NV, age 63, loving husband of Albie (Nest), peacefully passed away February 10, 2017. Son of Leslie (Sr.) and Jeanette E. (Krieger) Bailey of Niagara Falls. 
Survived by his wife; his mother; two brothers, Les (Carol) and Timothy (Ann Marie Nasca-Miller); two sons, Michael Nest of Las Vegas and Joseph Villani of Niagara Falls; and a daughter, Tammy Bailey of Las Vegas. 
David worked at Carborundum and Fiberfrax until 1998 when he and his wife moved to Las Vegas, where he was initially employed by Mirage Resorts as a manager and, as of 2002, by the City of Las Vegas. 
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 25th at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church, 8210 Buffalo Ave., Niagara Falls. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. -

n Loving Memory of Joseph "Joe" Samuel Villani

Joe passed away peacefully of natural causes at Erie County Medical Center on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. Joe was born on September 26th, 1966 in Las Vegas, NV. Joe was 54 years old.
Joe was born in Las Vegas and grew up in Niagara Falls. He moved to Las Vegas from 1998-2003. He graduated from Trott Vocational High School as a welder and became a Millwright Supervisor at Titanium Metals Corporation (TIMET) in Las Vegas before it closed, he then moved back to Niagara Falls.
Joe loved the outdoors, spending time with his friends and his pastimes were hiking and exploring the Niagara Gorge, camping, shooting, cookouts, listening to classic rock, enjoying action movies, and a great steak dinner. Everyone that knew Joe knew of his captivating energetic smile and hypnotic warm personality along with his witty sarcastic demeanor and unique laugh... Joe will always be remembered and dearly missed, but never forgotten. If one is remembered - they are never gone.
He is survived by his mother, Albie Bailey; and brother, Michael Nest of Las Vegas, NV; step-father, David C. Bailey (of recent passing); grandmother, Jeanette Bailey of Niagara Falls, NY; aunts and uncles, Glenda Nest of Niagara Falls, NY, Beverly Nest of Niagara Falls, NY, Leslie and Carol Bailey, Jr. of North Tonawanda, NY, Timothy and Ann Marie Bailey of Niagara Falls, NY, William and Anna Marie (Villani) Petroziello of Niagara Falls, NY, Vera J. Villani of Buffalo, NY; and numerous cousins; and lifelong friends, Chris and Angela Spina of Niagara Falls, NY.
The family is having a private service, and the Williamson Funeral Home of 635 Main St., Niagara Falls, NY 14301, will be handling the arrangements of the cremation and transporting of Joe's ashes to his family in Las Vegas. The family expresses great love for Chris and Angela for their lifelong friendship and love.
We greatly cherish everyone's prayers and thoughts and share with all that knew Joe. We are Christian, believing in God through Jesus Christ.
