William A. Werth, 57, of 395
Wheatfield street, died suddenly in
the garage at the rear of his home
this morning as he was preparing to
depart for the plant of the Buf-
falo Bolt company, where he was
employed for the last 34 years.
Mr. Werth was subject to heart
attacks. When he did not appear
with his car after some time, Mrs.
Werth went to the garage and
found her husband on the floor. Dr.
J. A. O'Connor was called and pro-
nounced Mr. Werth dead. The hood
of the car was up. It is believed
that over-exertion in trying to start
the car resulted in the attack.
Mr. Werth was born in the town
of Wheatfield. He had lived in this
locality all his life. He was a mem-
ber of St. Matthew's Lutheran
church and the Men's club.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Amalia
Werth; two daughters, mrs. John
Marzolf and Mrs. Allen Oswald;
two grandchildren, Beverly and
Sharon Marzolf, and three sisters,
Mrs. William C. Goerss, Mrs. Louisa
Sprange and Miss Mary Werth, all
of this city.
Rites will be held sunday after-
noon at 2:30 o'clock at the home
with the Rev. Carl Frankenstein
officiating. Interment will be in St.
Matthew's cemetery.

WILSON - Funeral services were conducted today for William R. Beutel, 65, of 4728 Chestnut St, this community, who died Saturday (July 2, 1966) at Lockport Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for two day. Mr. Beutel was born July 17, 1906, in North Tonawanda, the son of August and Louise Praker Beutel. He was married April 11, 1931 to Gladys Maacks Beutel, who survives. He had operated a farm at the Chestnut Street address. Mr. Beutel was a member of St Peter's Lutheran Church at North Ridge, a former trustee and Sunday School teacher of the church and a former member of the Board of Christian Education. He was an exempt member of the South Wilson Fire Co. Besides his widow, he is survived by a son, Donald K. Beutel, this community; a daughter, Mrs. Myrlin (Shirley) Hall, Edgerton, Wis.; a sister, Mrs: Elwin (Hilda) Ahrens, Lockport, and seven grandchildren. Mr. Beutel also was the brother of the late Mrs. Mabel Goldpenny and Mrs. Gertrude Schuman. Rev. William Faust of St Peter's Lutheran Church, conducted the services at Hamilton Funeral Chapel and at St Peter's Church, North Ridge. Burial was in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery at North Ridge.

Jeanette S. (Schuman) Kroening, age 88 of Upper Mountain Road, Town of Cambria, went home to be with her Lord on May 1, 2013 while at the Niagara Hospice House, Lockport. Born on August 20, 1924 in Wilson, NY, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Gertrude (Beutel) Schuman. Jeanette was the wife of the late Herbert E. Kroening, who entered into rest on January 29, 2001. They were united in marriage on May 27, 1950.
Jeanette was a 1941 graduate of Wilson High School, and the Kelley Business Institute, in 1942. Her employment included The Dobby Foundry, E.I. DuPont Company, and Bell Aircraft Corp. She was very active in the local 4-H Club, winning many trips and awards. Jeanette was also a member of the local Cambria Homemakers, a social member of the Harrison Retirees Travel Club, The Welch Cooperative, and the Dale Association. Jeanette was confirmed on October 5, 1947 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wilson, and presently a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Pekin. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, knitting, playing Bingo and shared great comfort in being with family and friends.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathleen (Gary) Kemble and Bonnie (Robert) Glenn, both of Lockport; a son, Randy (Rosemary) Kroening of Wilson; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends; including her faithful companion, Milford C. Scharlau.
Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME (731-3234), 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield on Saturday from 7-9 PM and on Sunday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Services will be conducted by the Rev. R.P. Vogeler, on Monday at 10:30 AM in St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Upper Mountain Road in Pekin. Interment will follow in North Ridge Cemetery, Cambria. WILSON - Donald K. Beutel, age 72, of Wilson, died Thursday, September 8, 2011, unexpectedly. Born July 27, 1939, he was the son of the late William R. and Gladys E. Beutel. He attended St. Peter's Lutheran School and was a 1957 graduate of Wilson High School. Donald also had additional schooling at Coyne Electrical School in Chicago. He worked for the Erie Barge Canal for 30 years as a Lock and Bridge Operator from which he retired. Donald repaired televisions and electronic devices and, along with his family, owned and operated Beutel Greenhouses. A former member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, he was a member of Concordia Evangelical Lutheran Church of which he was a Deacon. Donald was very instrumental in the addition of the front and back of the church. A former member of South Wilson Fire Company he loved people, plants, farming and greenhouses. He enjoyed spending time with family, hunting, fishing and was the kindest, nicest man in the world. Donald married Ruth Martha Dobberstien in 1958; she predeceased him in February of 2007. Also predeceasing him was a grandson, Jason Hibbard in 1997. He married Sandra Irene Gregory July 12, 2008. Surviving him, besides Sandra, are William (Amy) Beutel of Newfane, Lori (William) Devine of Panama City, FL, Glenn (Joan) Beutel of Devener, CO, Lt. Col. Ret. Kenneth and Lt. Col. Ret. TOWN OF CAMBRIA — Ruth M. Hall, of the Town of Cambria, NY, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2012, in the Briody Health Care Facility, Lockport, NY. She was born in Tonawanda, NY, on October 11, 1924, the daughter of the late Albert and Alice (Pfanner) Everett.

Mrs. Hall was a graduate of Tonawanda High School. She was employed with the Starpoint Central School, for over 10 years, before retiring in 1977. Mrs. Hall was a very active member of the Hope United Methodist Church in Pekin. She loved crocheting and playing solitaire.

Mrs. Hall is survived by her husband of 65 years, Lester R. "Bob" Hall; one brother, William (Dorothy) Everett; two special nieces, Beth Wells of Niagara Falls, NY and Sharon Wells of Surprise, AZ; and her beloved cat, Molly. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the sister of the late Warren (late Helen) Everett, Howard (late Lois) Everett and Norma (late Lester) Wells.

The family will be present on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. NORTH TONAWANDA — Norma L. (nee Mielke) Stolzenburg, age 90, of North Tonawanda, NY, was called to her heavenly home on Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Born in the Town of Cambria, NY to the late Elmer and Amanda (Gombert) Mielke, she was the wife of Franklin F. Jagow, who entered into rest in 1966; the wife of David Stolzenburg, who predeceased her in 1997; and was the sister of the late Donald Mielke, Marian Ellman and Phyllis Stoelting. Norma attended LaSalle Jr. and Sr. High Schools. She had been employed as an assembler at Radatron in North Tonawanda for over 20 years. Norma was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Wilson. Her joy was her family and their time together. She enjoyed collecting recipes and was well-known for her delicious pies and homemade baked goods.

She is survived by three sons, Rev. Wayne F. (Maureen) Jagow of the Town of Lockport, NY, Daniel J. (Maria) Jagow of Coppell, TX, and Robert G. (Laura) Jagow of Lakeland, FL; six grandchildren, Rev. Andrew W. (Kathy) Jagow, Erin Jagow, Bethany Moulden, Sean (Jessie) Jagow, Amanda (Kevin) Nevels and Nikole Jagow; seven great-grandchildren, Christian DiRamio, Lily and Claire Jagow, Amira and twins, Cooper and Brady Jagow, and Claire Nevels; three step-grandchildren, Lisa, James (Alissa) and Jason Hodgson; four step-great-grandchildren, Alissa, Alexx and Sidney Boerhinger, and Kennedy Hodgson; a sister-in-law, Norma Lewis of Sanborn, NY; a brother-in-law, Marvin (late Phyllis) Stoelting of Pekin, NY; and many nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was also a member of the American Legion Sanborn Post-Ladies Auxiliary. She was a very caring person and always there to help others in need. Her hobbies and interests were cooking, baking and gardening. Survivors include her husband, Marvin E. Stoelting. They were united in marriage August 25, 1956; two sons, Randy Stoelting of Ransomville and Kevin Stoelting of Pekin; a sister, Norma Stolzenburg of North Tonawanda; and three grandchildren, Justin, Kari and Kaylee. Janice Ruth Voelker, age 61 of Ransomville, died unexpectedly on Thursday August 17, 2017 at the Eastern Niagara Hospital in Lockport.
 
Janice was born July 18, 1956 in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of the late Glenwood J. and Margaret (Goldpenny) Moeller. A lifelong resident, she was a 1974 graduate of Wilson High School. Janice was employed as an office clerk by Franklin Global Strategies in Wheatfield. She was a very active member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church at North Ridge where she married Philip D. Voelker on July 26, 1986. Janice taught Sunday School and was a member of the choir. She was a member of the Pioneer Association of Volunteers and had a lifelong involvement with "Camp Pioneer" in Angola. Janice also was a member of the Women's Missionary League.
 
Philip predeceased her on October 4, 2012. She is survived by two brothers, Tim (Judi) Moeller of North Tonawanda and Daniel Moeller of Johnson City, TN; and a Goddaughter, Allisa Smith.

Obituary of Beth Holly Wells
Beth Holly Wells, 60, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully at home June 25, surrounded by her immediate family and close friends after a long, courageous battle with melanoma cancer. Born in Tonawanda, NY, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Norma (Everett) Wells. Beth graduated from Trott Vocational High School in 1978 as a student of cosmetology. She worked as a pharmacy technician for many years at Rite Aid in Niagara Falls, and most recently at St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston. She also worked at various other places, as she had relocated to Arizona, Michigan and then Florida with her beloved fiancé, the late Richard Barnes. Beth was very active with Niagara County Girl Scouts as a troop leader from Brownies to Cadettes, passionately involved for her daughters. Teaming up with another troop, she worked for two years fundraising for an educational trip to Gettysburg, PA, Norfolk Naval Base, Williamsburg, VA along with fun times and great memories at Virginia Beach and Busch Gardens. In her spare time, she was an avid crafter. Beth joined her friends weekly for craft night. She also enjoyed sewing and needlepoint. Most importantly, Beth spent her life devoted to her daughters and grandchildren. Beth is survived by her daughter, Wendy Brosius; grandsons Christopher Brosius, Jordan Robinson, and Eann Robinson; great grandson Armani Robinson; brother David (Kathleen) Wells; stepbrother Roger (Sue) Stone, nephews Jeremy, Paul, Robert, and Adam; nieces Jennifer, Stacy, Norma and Carmen; sisters-in-law Sharon and Marty, many cousins, her lifelong friends Cheryl, Laurie and Kim, as well as her loyal dog Jade. Beth is also survived by her predeceased daughters partner Michael Grover, and family. She is predeceased by her daughter, Christine; fiancé Rick Barnes; nephew Michael; niece Alice; sisters Sharon and Leslie and brothers James and Robert. Of Gasport, NY, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017, at his residence. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on August 29, 1944, the son of the late Eugene P. and Marian [Patterson] Schulz.
Mr. Schulz grew up in Sanborn and graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School. He served with the US Marines, during the Vietnam War. Mr. Schulz was a machine repairman at Harrison Radiator in Lockport for 38 years, before retiring in 2000. He enjoyed racing stock cars, classic cars, trains traveling the country and riding his bike.
He is survived by four sons David (Melanie), Daniel (Jody), Mark (Amy) and Brian (Jill) Schulz, seven grandchildren Mikaela, Lily, Sophie, Hannah, Madison, Alexandra and Jacob, his former wife Faye Olds, one brother John C. Schulz, three sisters Nancy Hilwig, Mary (Tom) Blendowski and Laura Carmer, also many nieces and nephews.
His family will be present on Thursday from 4-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.

Randy M. Stoelting, 62, of Ransomville and Pekin entered into rest unexpectedly on December 04, 2022, at ECMC. Randy was born on July 24, 1960, to the late Marvin and Phyllis (Nee Mielke) Stoelting. He attended Holy Ghost Lutheran School till 8th grade going on to graduate from Niagara Wheatfield High School and the University of Buffalo, receiving a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.Randy worked for many years as a laborer with the family business, Stoelting Machine Inc. in the Hamlet of Bergholz, until his retirement. After retirement, he found himself carrying out the duties as a funeral assistant, being the “right hand man” to his dear close friends Stephen and Brad at the Hardison Funeral Home Inc. and helping Stephen assist several other funeral homes in the area. He loved to spend time with his family and friends going to raffles, parties and enjoying, food and a few cold Mountain Dews. Randy along with his parents and brother were life members of St. Andrew Lutheran Church. Randy his father, and brother were also life members of Tri-Community Ambulance Inc. with over 20 years of service His three children were his entire world, until his first granddaughter Lucy was born on December 3rd, 2020, Randy loved their weekly babysitting days, Tuesdays and Thursdays were Lucy and Papa days. On November 15th, 2022, his second granddaughter Alessia was born and even though their time together was short he absolutely loved her and cherished their time. Randy’s third granddaughter Clare joined this world on December 6th, 2022, shortly after his passing, but it was known that he already loved her and will continue to in spirit.Surviving are his children; Justin (Katie) Stoelting, Kari (Nick) Piazza, Kaylee Stoelting; his granddaughters, Lucy Stoelting, Alessia Piazza and Clare Stoelting; several aunts, an uncle, many cousins, and many dear friends who were more like family. Besides his parents Randy is predeceased by his brother Kevin Stoelting.A graveside service will be held privately. Burial will be in St. Andrew Lutheran Church Cemetery. Kevin R. Stoelting born in Niagara Falls, New York on September 8, 1964, he was the son of Marvin and Phyllis (Mielke) Stoelting. Kevin attended Holy Ghost Lutheran School and was a 1982 Graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School and 1984 graduate of Niagara County Community College. He worked as an arborist, machinist, mechanic and welder at the family business, Stoelting Machine, Inc. for his whole life. Kevin was a lifetime member of Tri-Community Ambulance Service, Inc., member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Pekin, where he was the head chowder chef, and he shot darts in the T-NT electronic dart league. Kevin loved his family and friends, helped anyone in need, and cherished every moment spent with his nieces and nephew, Kari, Kaylee and Justin. Kevin entered into rest and was called to his heavenly home on December 14, 2015 at Mercy Hospital, Buffalo, New York at the age of 51.

Predeceased by his mother in 2010, he is also survived by his father and a brother, Randy. At Kevin's request, a graveside service was conducted by the Rev. R.P. Vogeler, in St. Andrew Lutheran Cemetery on December 18, 2015, with no prior visitation. Memorial contributions may be made To St. Andrew Lutheran Church.

He was a service technician with Golf Carts & Accessories in Gasport. Ken was a Cub Master with Pack 7 and an assistant Scout master with Troop 40. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Jennifer E. [Houseman] Hilwig, his children Kenneth, Wyatt Hilwig and Emma Voros, two sisters Jamie (Daniel Masich) Kasperek and Renee (Ryan) Harris, a brother Benjamin (Jessica) Martin, uncle of Ella, Dallas and Hayden and son-in-law of Rebecca (Phil) Incorvaia and Kenneth (Linda) Houseman. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
His family will be present on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.
