Allan E. Werth, age 91 of Bergholz, in the Town of Wheatfield, NY, was called peacefully to his heavenly home on October 9, 2023 at his residence. Born in North Tonawanda, NY on February 27, 1932; the son of Arnold and Myrtle (Heppner) Werth. Allan served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was employed for forty years as an accountant at Columbus McKinnon, in North Tonawanda, until his retirement. A longtime member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church; he enjoyed hunting, playing cards and dominos. He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey M. (Storbeck) Werth on March 5, 2023; a son, Gary Werth; and sister, Shirley Miller.Survivors include two daughters, Debra (Frank) Yeamans, and Darla Werth (Matthew Shields); eight grandchildren, Nicole Carlson, Chad Ammon, Erica Carlson, Kevin Romero, Jessica Werth, Brandon Mincey, Melissa Werth, and Allison Werth; four great-grandchildren, Josh Ammon, Devyn Romero, Emily Ammon, and Benjamin Mincey; and a great-great-grandson, Levi Ammon.Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, October 21 at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, corner of Niagara Road and Luther Street in Bergholz. The Rev. Denton White, will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the church, or to the Kidney Foundation. Arrangements were with the DuBois Funeral Home, Wheatfield, NY.

NORTH TONAWANDA —
Harold R. "Butch" Miller, Jr., age 68, of North Tonawanda, February 27, 2013, after a lengthy illness. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He retired from Delphi Thermal Systems in Lockport after 30 years of service. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Tonawanda Sportsman's Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed skeet shooting. He was also a Bills and Sabres fan. He was the son of the late Harold and Shirley Miller.
Beloved husband of Marian (nee Martin) Miller; dear father of Daniel and Christian Miller, both of North Tonawanda; brother of Cheryl Walek of Cheektowaga; uncle of several nieces and nephews.
No prior visitation. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Sunday at 2 PM from St. Paul Lutheran Church, 453 Old Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda, the Rev. Karl Haeusseler and the Rev. GARY A. WERTH, age 61 of Mechanicsville, Maryland, entered into rest unexpectedly on December 3, 2018. Born in Kenmore, NY on March 2, 1957; son of Allan and Audrey Werth. Gary attended Niagara Wheatfield High School, and served in the U.S. Army for four years, and the Navy for three years. He was a former member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Bergholz.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Cynthia Werth; three children, Jessica, Melessa, and Allison; parents; two sisters, Debra Yeamans and Darla Werth. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion -Post 238, 6265 Brandywine Road, Hughesville, MD 20637. A local memorial service will be held in April, with the place, date and time to be announced.
