    William Orndorff Life Story

    William Orndorff, 59, of Largo, FL, passed away on January 15, 2024. He was born on January 23, 1964. William was a kind hearted, loving and generous person.

    William is survived by his sister, Laurie Kosut (Darryl Kosut); nephews, Frank Coseglia and Chris Coseglia; niece, Courtney Coseglia (Wesley Dillon), and their 4 children, Evelynn, Elijah, Ezekiel, and Ezra and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Orndorff; mother, Shirley Peck and step-father, Alfred Peck.

    William attended Niagara Wheatfield High School. Following his education, he served in the United States Navy for 9 years. William was proud of his military associations.

    After his military service, William worked at General Abrasives, as a machinist. He then moved on to pursue a career as a firefighter at the Niagara Falls Airbase, where he retired. His dedication and bravery in serving the community will always be remembered.

    William loved the outdoors, especially the Adirondacks. He also loved hunting, camping and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time in Florida.

    His passing comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and it is gravely felt by his entire family and countless others who loved him deeply. The family deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time. He will be sadly missed.

    The family will be present to honor William's life and legacy on Saturday, February 3rd,  from 2-5 p.m., concluding with Military Honors, at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007).
