    tomorrow at 2:30 o'clock from
    the home.

    Bushville, Feb 24 -Miss Loretta
    Allen, 73 years old, died Sunday afternoon
    at the Batavia Hospital. She
    had lived in Oakfield. where she was
    bom.until 18 months ago when she
    came here to. l i v e with her brother,
    Millard F. Allen.
    Besides her brother, she leaves a
    nephew and three neices. Funeral
    services took place today front the
    Hartley undertaking Parlor in Batavia.
    Burial was made in the Carey
    cemetery at Oakfield.

    Oakfleld, April 17.-The funeral of
    Walter E. Allen, formerly of Oakfleld,
    who died on Thursday In Waterloo,
    la., will be held from the home of his
    sister, Miss Retta Allen of the Hatavia-
    Oakfleld townllne road at 2 p. m.
    tomorrow, the Rev. G. M. Harris officiating,
    assisted by the Rev. C. C.
    Gove. The burial Services in t h e ('ary
    cemetery in this village will be conducted
    by Batavla Lodge, No. 197, I.
    O.O.F., and members of the Oakfleld
    I.O.Q.F. Lodge will attend in a body.
    Mr. Allen, Who died In a Waterloo
    hospital after a week's illness, was
    born in Oakfleld on June 7, 1857, being
    a son of the late Mr. and Mrs,
    Seneca Allen. Besides his sister. Miss
    Retta Allen, he Is survived by a son,
    Clement E. Allen, and a daughter,
    Mrs. William Welch, both of Oakfleld,
    and a brother, Millard F. Allen of
    Stafford. He went from Oakfleld
    three years ago to Waterloo, where
    he was connected with an engine
    company.
    Mr. Allen Was a member of the
    Mlddlebury Baptist church and of the
    Batavla Lodge and Eureka Encampment
    of Batavia. I.O.O.F.
