Horton-Mrs. Elliott W. Horton,
widow of the late E. W. Horton, a
former editor of the Livingston Democrat,
died,yesterday morning in Roche
s t e r after a lingering illness. Mrs.
Horton, whose maiden name was Emma
Argue, was born in Midland, Ontario,
Can. She leaves two sons, Elliot
A, of this village and Elmer R.
of Detroit, Mich., and one daughter,
Mrs. Edna V. Cashmore of White
Plains; also three sisters, Mrs. Roy
Eaton of Rochester, Mrs. Annie Magee
of Midland, Ont, land Mrs. Alexander
Hinman of Los Angeles, Cal,
and two brothers, Wm. Argue and
Samuel Argue both of Midland. Mrs.
Horton was a member of the Presbyterian
church and a faithful attend-
ant. The funeral will be conducted
tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 from the
home Of her son on Elm street, Rev.
Joseph Sunter officiating.
