    Suzanne M. Austin, 69, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on August 9, 2023 at Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston, NY.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Jeanette (Morowski) Austin.
    Sue was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School.  She was employed for over 20 years with the Niagara Falls Board of Education in Food Preparation, mainly working at Henry J. Kalfas Elementary School, where she was very well loved and respected by all.  Sue enjoyed going to the casino with her friends and attending Chinese auctions.  Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family, and loved being at all family events and celebrations.
    Sue is survived by her siblings, Joann (Ron) Kurek, Paul Austin, Michael (Cathy) Austin, and Jim (Dorothy) Austin, as well as by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Sharon (late Charles) Guarino.
    Per Sue’s wishes, there will be no prior visitation or funeral services.  If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14304.  Arrangements by M.J.     David C. Guarino, 40, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away tragically on Tuesday, January 31, 2017. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on May 10, 1976, he was the son of Charles(Della) Guarino and the late Sharon (Austin) Guarino.
    David was a Maintenance Supervisor at Pemco, Inc. in Niagara Falls, NY. Dave will forever be remembered as a devoted family man, and a very caring and giving person.
    Besides his father, he is survived by his wife, Amy (Bresko) Guarino; children, Miranda, Nora and David, Jr.; sisters, Lisa (David) Caserto and Debra Guarino. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call on Friday, February 3rd from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC., 319-24th Street, cor. of Welch Ave., Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin at 7:00 PM. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
