    Rosary will be recited Monday at
    8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the
    chapel this evening from 7-10 p.m.

    of 1449 Ferry Ave.
    Mr. Baio died Saturday (Sept.
    27, 1969) at Memorial Hospital.
    The founder and owner of the
    Baio Appliance Co., 7511 Pine
    Ave., for 21 years, Mr. Baio
    retired five years ago.
    Born in Italy on Oct. 1, 1901,
    he came to this country as a
    youth, and had lived in Niagara
    Falls since then.
    He was the son of the late
    Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Baio. He
    is survived by his widow,
    Catherine Baio (nee Cervola);
    a son, Joseph Baio; three
    daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Ange-
    line) Simone, Mrs. August
    (Josephine) Moceri and Mrs.
    Julie (Annabelle) Grana, all of
    this city.
    He is also survived by two
    brothers, Peter and John; three
    sisters, Mrs. Josephine San-
    fillipo, Mrs. Anthony (Carmel-
    le) Costanzo and Mrs. Rose
    Koch, all of this city; 14 grand-
    children and several nieces and
    nephews.
    Burial will be in St. Joseph's
    Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the cha-
    pel today from 2 to 5 and 7 to
    10 p.m. The rosary will be
    recited tonight at 2 o'clock.

    Notes:

    Josephine Moceri, 95, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Catherine (Cervola) Baio; and beloved wife of the late August Moceri, whom she married at St. Joseph Church in 1950.
    Josephine was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. She was employed by the N.F. Board of Education as a cook for many years prior to her retirement while serving at Harry F. Abbott school.
    Josephine was devout Catholic and lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph Church. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Cristoforo Colombo Society.
    In her free time, she enjoyed going to the Casino, getting a pedicure, watching gameshows, as well as rooting for the Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees. Josephine was also a talented cake decorator in her younger years. Above all, Mrs. Moceri centered her life around her family who will miss her immensely. 
    Mrs. Moceri is survived by her children, Gerald (late Susan) Moceri, David (Lenore) Moceri, Carol (Paul) Luzzi, Kenny (Laura Martin-Moceri) Moceri; her grandchildren, Michael, Brian, Cara, Paul, Rachel, Tyler; six great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Joseph (late Rose) Baio, Angie (late Joseph) Simone and Annabelle (Julian) Grana.
    The family wishes to thank Josephine‘s “on earth angel,” Danielle, for all of the love and care given to Josephine the past seven years.
    Visitation will be Friday, January 27 from 4 – 8 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin on Saturday at 9:15 AM, followed by Josephine’s Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY.     Annabelle (Baio) Grana, 89, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, June 18, 2020, after a 17-year courageous battle on Dialysis. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Catherine (Cervola) Baio.
    Annabelle graduated from Niagara Falls High School and began working at her parent’s business, Baio Appliance on Pine Avenue in Niagara Falls.
    She met her beloved husband, Julian “Julie” Grana while attending South Junior High School and they later were married on March 31, 1951 at Our Lady of Lebanon Church. Annabelle worked side by side with her husband at their business, T. Grana and Son Produce for many years.
    Annabelle was a devout Catholic and longtime parishioner of the former Our Lady of Lebanon Church.  She was active in many facets of the parish including the bible study group, Bishop’s committee, the St. Vincent de Paul organization, cooking for the priests and teaching religious education for eight years. Her and her husband were also one of the first couples to receive the ‘Saint Joseph the Worker Award,’ for the religious devotion and dedication to the community.
    Annabelle was a talented arts and crafts artist who especially enjoyed making ceramics, soaps and chocolates. She also enjoyed baking pies and will be remembered greatly for her black raspberry pies.
    Annabelle loved going to the casino with her husband and sister, but above all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
    In addition to her husband of 69 years, Annabelle is survived by her children, Julie Ann (John Soltys) Grana, Karen Grana and Ted (Lorrie) Grana; her grandchildren, Tom (Suzanne Senzig) Bosso, Jr., Cori Lynn Bosso, David (Kristen) Cassert, Christine (Al) Franjoine, TC (Beth) Cassert, Justin (Jess) Grana, Lauren Grana and Adam Grana; her great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Tom Bosso, III, Julianna, Sienna and Evan Franjoine, and Cooper Cassert and Julian Cassert, and was happily awaiting one great granddaughter on the way. She is also survived by her sister, Josephine (late Augie) Moceri, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two siblings, Joseph (late Rose) Baio and Angie (late Joseph) Simone.
    The family will be present on Monday, June 22 from 11 – 12 Noon at St. Raphael’s Parish, 3840 Macklem Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY, where Annabelle’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon. Entombment will be held privately for the family at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Due to current circumstances, social distancing and masks will be required to adhere with current regulations. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara Falls Boys & Girls Club, 725 17th Street Niagara Falls, NY 14301, the Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue, Inc., 3652 Ewings Rd, Lockport, NY 14094, St. Raphael’s Church or to a charity of one’s choice.     Maryjo Simone Robins, 68, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at her home. She was born June 21, 1948 in Niagara Falls, NY, was a former resident of Lewiston, NY, living in Libertyville, IL for the past 36 years. She was a graduate of New York State University in Albany and worked in the computer lab at Libertyville High School for 15 years before retiring in 2013. She enjoyed quilting, researching her beloved Italian family history, Sicily, and was a charter member of the Random Readers Book Club. Surviving are her husband of 36 years, John Robins; her son, Joseph (Christa) Simone; and step-children, Scott (Irene) Robins, Chris (Sherrie) Robins, Kathleen (David) Rood and Mark (Tracey) Robins; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and her sister, Donna (Daniel) Hartnett. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Angeline (nee Baio) Simone. Visitation and funeral services were held on December 1st and 2nd in Libertyville, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to either Doctor's Without Borders or the National Brain Tumor Society.
