    Notes:

    Frank S. Wasik passed away peacefully at Niagara Hospice surrounded by his loving family on January 9, 2024.  Born October 9, 1928 in North Tonawanda, the son of the late George and Karolina (Sidor) Wasik.  Frank is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara (nee Gaylord) Wasik and children Debra (Bill) Hopkins. Diane (David "Jake") Reed, David (Melissa) Wasik, and Michael (Tara) Wasik; his grandchildren Emily Reed, Brooke & Cameron Wasik, and Natalie Wasik.  He was predeceased and joined in heaven with his son Frank T Wasik, grandson Benjamin Wasik, and siblings Miron (Nova), Mitchell "Mac" (Helen), Edward, and Viola "Jane" (Fred) Burkhardt. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
    Frank was a lifelong cattle farmer and horse dealer, who bred and raised Brahman cattle, Quarter horses and Belgian work horses.  He had a deep love of farming and animals.  Frank was also a founding member of the Niagara Frontier Draft Horse Club.  He was also a longtime member of the American Legion, serving in the US Army combat veteran of the Korean War, serving from 1953-1955.  Following his honorable discharge, Frank resumed farming fulltime and opened his farm to horse boarding and started a career as a truck driver at Frank's Vacuum Service. 
    Frank's greatest joy was his family, who will miss him dearly.  The family would like to thank Niagara Hospice for its wonderful care.
    Relatives and friends may call Thursday, January 11th from 4-7 PM at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Friday, January 12th at 10 AM.  Interment will be in Wheatfield Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 or at www.niagarahospice.org would be appreciated.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.

    Frank T. Wasik passed away December 4, 2020 in Kenmore Mercy Hospital. Born August 1, 1964 in North Tonawanda, he is the son of Frank and Barbara (Gaylord) Wasik.
    Frank was a farmer working on the family farm, Wasik Farm, in Pendleton. He enjoyed working on fabrication, welding and working with heavy equipment. Frank loved being on his farm, planting crops, feeding the cows and especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.
    Besides his parents, Frank is also survived by his siblings, Debra (William) Hopkins, Diane (David "Jake") Reed, David (Melissa) Wasik and Michael (Tara) Wasik; nieces and nephews, Emily Reed, Brooke and Cameron Wasik, Natalie Wasik, and the late Benjamin D. Wasik; dear friend, Lisa Sendker; also survived by several dear aunts, uncles and cousins.
    Relatives and friends may call Monday, December 7th from 3-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. Private funeral services will be held. Interment will be in the Wheatfield Cemetery.

    Benjamin David Wasik passed away on Wednesday March 15, 2017. Born in Amherst, on December 6, 2006, he was the loving son of David and Melissa (nee Reil) Wasik. Ben was in 4th Grade at Starpoint Intermediate School. He loved building with his legos, fishing, Star Wars and working with his family on their farm, he also loved spending time in Canada at the family cottage.

    Beside his parents, Ben is survived by his siblings, Brooke and Cameron Wasik. Beloved, Grandson of Frank and Barbara Wasik and Richard and Elaine Reil; dear nephew of Debra (Bill Hopkins) Wasik, Frank Wasik, Diane (David "Jake") Wasik-Reed, Michael (Tara) Wasik, Brandon (Lindsay) Reil, Bryan (Desiree) Reil and Lisa Sendker. He is also survived by his cousins Emily Reed, Natalie Wasik, Audriana Reil, Delaney Reil, Landon Reil and Ethan Reil.

    Friends may call on Sunday March 19th 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday March 20th at 10 AM at the Pendleton Center United Methodist Church, 6864 Campbell Blvd., North Tonawanda, NY. Interment will be in Wheatfield Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorials to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 331 Alberta Drive #106, Buffalo, NY 14226, would be appreciated by the family.
